First ever pleasurable car buying experience! After obsessively reading car reviews for a month, narrowing down my selection and visiting several other dealerships, I can honestly say that meeting After obsessively reading car reviews for a month, narrowing down my selection and visiting several other dealerships, I can honestly say that meeting with Daniel was like a breath of fresh air: yes, I knew he wanted to make the sale, but his approach was more like a counselor trying to work with me than that of the dreaded used-car salesman pushing to close the deal. But then again, Weeks Pre-Owned Center doesn’t sell just any old used car, they sell only the highest quality pre-owned vehicles, and their professionalism perfectly suits the higher-end makes they sell. I had to do a little bit of financial juggling between accounts and knew that this would take a few days, but Daniel, knowing how much I loved the car, eased my mind when he assured me that the car was indeed mine with what I had put down. We juggled funds considerably more quickly than expected and called Daniel Monday morning, saying that we were on our way to pick up the car, about three days earlier than expected. When we arrived, the car was in the bay receiving its final checks and cleaning, and we completed the sales process with Daniel and Jenn, the finance manager. Again, all went smoothly, with all questions being answered, and none of the pressure normally associated with purchasing a car. Before long, Daniel was out showing us all the functions and features of my new car. We drove from our home in Pennsylvania to Weeks in Connecticut, something I never thought I would do to buy a car, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat. This is the first time in all my years of buying cars, mostly new, that I can say that the experience was pleasurable. Thank you, Daniel and Jenn, for your courtesy, and your professionalism in making me one very happy Volkswagen Eos owner! BTW, this car is absolutely fantastic! :-) More

I was looking for a car and i had in mind what kind of car i really wanted and on my way to work everyday i would always look at this car place and i told my parents about it and one day after work. We made a visit to the car place and we were looking at 2013 Volkswagen golfs and Daniel Putzig the sales consultant came out and gave us prices on the car and i wanted to know more about it so we went inside and sat down and got to learn about the car more and he explained everything to us before buying it and then by the end of the visit i had made my decision and i wanted that car and then we had spoke to Jen Brown the business manager and she had went of her way to help me get this car i wanted.I want to thank you both for everything you have done to help me get my first car and go out of your way just to help me.You guys are both great thank you again! These guys are total sharks. With friendly smiles that never touch their eyes they'll try & convince you that they've done all they can to meet your goals in purchasing a certified Audi. The reality is they'll employ every tactic in the book (& some that aren't) trying to get you to OVERPAY. Prepare to be thoroughly screwed with unless you enjoy paying sticker prices. I went there on a Saturday morning & met with Rich. We looked at a couple of vehicles, he gave me his card & assured me that he worked every Saturday & he'd be in touch. I received two immediate follow-up emails from him, to which I replied but received no additional response. I sent him another email about a week & a half later telling him that I'd be returning for a test drive on the upcoming Saturday. Again, no response. So my family & I took the long drive to Danbury that Saturday (my day off) to find that Rich wasn't there. "I think he's on vacation this week. I'm not sure.", the other salesman Daniel told me. So I asked him about the car I came to test drive. The one listed online as available... the one that was apparently parked on the side of the building with a HOLD sign in the window. "Yeah, I'm sorry but that vehicle just sold the other day. There's a deposit on it now, & it's going through the closing process." So, I asked him about the other car I came to see, which I had already identified on the lot. "Let me go & get the key.", he says. He comes back after almost 10 minutes & tells me he can't find the key. We go out to the lot again & the vehicle is suddenly gone. He says it "It must be out for a test drive with another potential buyer." By this point I'm annoyed, but I stay calm & tell him the plain truth. I really came to see the 1st vehicle that just sold & make an offer, but it's no longer an option so we'll be heading to Fairfield Audi instead. I get in the car with my family & we leave. My father tells me he never saw any vehicle leave the lot for a test drive while I was inside the dealership. If anything, he thinks they may have pulled into the back lot or into the service center. We were 15 miles away when Daniel called & told me that the "sold" vehicle was no longer sold & I was welcome to return & negotiate a deal. Yeah, right. I was beyond annoyed at this point, but we turned around & headed back anyway, only to waste an hour before I realized they wouldn't come down more than 6.5% from sticker price & this was from the manager, Lou. The sales consultant Daniel wouldn't do $hit for me with the price. I offered them a mere 8% less than sticker (& 45% cash down!), & wound up walking out. I'll bet that HOLD sign went right back into the window after they realized they couldn't get a higher price from me that morning by selling it out from under the other customer. At one point the manager actually pulled my mother into his office to talk numbers to her as he saw her leaving the nearby restroom. I'm almost 40 years old. She was just along for the ride & it was incredibly inappropriate of him. The only redeeming quality I seemed to encounter was the business manager, Jenn, who was somewhat friendly & able to quote a slightly lower interest rate (0.4%) from Chase than I was pre-approved for with Capital One. But, let's face it. My credit got me the rate, she just ran my info. And considering the fact that Audi of Fairfield's business manager cut my A.P.R. (relatively) in half when he ran my info, there's no doubt that she actually doubled the "buy rate" on the loan she quoted me in order to add profit to the deal. It's a dirty maneuver that dealerships use to make money on the back end of a sale. In the end, I purchased a later model Audi in Fairfield with the same options, in better condition, for $2,600 less than the bottom line they tried to give me in Danbury. So, let's see... if you don't want to be taken seriously by a sales consultant, you're gullible enough to believe in tiny mark-ups, you enjoy being given the ultimate run-around & you'll be impressed when shaving $470 off the sticker price of $26,370 is Daniel's response to "What's your best price?", then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I'd recommend pretty much any other dealership where genuine human beings work. More

I was drawn to Weeks due to their wide selection of used VWs and competitive pricing; I just purchased a used VW Tiguan in mint condition from Weeks. In fact, I made the trip from New Haven to Danbury to lo VWs and competitive pricing; I just purchased a used VW Tiguan in mint condition from Weeks. In fact, I made the trip from New Haven to Danbury to look at Week's selection. Daniel Putzing (sales) was very helpful, i.e., i came to Weeks to look at several vehicles I had found on their website but after testing driving two vehicles and discussing my needs Daniel suggested a third option, that I had not even considered, as a better value for condition, miles, and accessories. As it turns out, i bought the VW Daniel suggested. Jen Brown, the business manager, worked through my loan application very quickly and we closed our deal in a day or two. The entire process was not only painless but very positive; Weeks has a great selection of cars in great condition, the pricing is reasonable, and the sales/business staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend Weeks Pre-owned for anyone looking for great used vehicles at a good price. More

I gave them a call and Daniel worked out the price for my trade and the price of the new car via phone and email. He got my payment exactly where I wanted it and overall made the process of buying a car without ever actual seeing it extremely easy and pleasent. The vehicle I purchased was exactly as described and the pictures on their website did not do it justice. Jen, the buisness manager was also very nice and knowledgeable with any questions I had about the out of state process. I would definitley make the trip to purchase a vehicle from them again in the future and I highly reccommend this friendly, no xx dealer! More
