Having had high pressure experiences at both, my guard was definitely up and I was somewhat dreading the experience. I had found the Forester I was interested in online but when I reached out by email, Dan Rovelli called to let me know it had just been sold. Knowing what I wanted Dan recommended another car and I made the trek from Hoboken the next day to check it out. I took it out for a test drive and I knew this was the car. Throughout the process Dan was great to work with and I didn’t feel pressured like I did other places. We ultimately landed at a price that we both were happy with without the high stress tactics. Dave Finkel went over the financials with me and reviewed warranty extensions. Similarly, he was great to work with — taking the time to explain options and answering all my questions. While I initially dreaded the car buying experience, I’d highly recommend Dan, Dave and Liberty Subaru. I didn’t think buying a car could be that seamless and dare I say, enjoyable. I honestly should’ve started there instead of going anywhere else. More
