Giving 5 stars due to the care and consideration provided to me by Dason and the service team. I appreciate their willingness and capability to get me in and out the same-day for a relatively straight-forwar to me by Dason and the service team. I appreciate their willingness and capability to get me in and out the same-day for a relatively straight-forward repair. I do want to point out that the service scheduling system could use some work. If a schedule is made by a customer, that should reserve their vehicle a place for both diagnostics and potential repair work as soon as possible. To set a day/time specific appointment for a simple warranty repair only to be initially told the team "might" be able to get to it today is laughable. Why have a schedule if you're just taking first-come first served? I'm sure others have provided negative feedback for this exact reason, only for the service dept. representative to take the hit for a low review score when it is the organization's approach to service that is the real culprit. Simply put. If you ask customers to schedule a service visit, have a tech available for that scheduled service. If you know ahead of time, either from the customer's own comments or the service team's backlog, that it will be some time before repairs are complete, have a loaner available. If you're serious about having honest positive customer feedback this should be your approach. Don't just rely on the grace of customers to rate a service associate who has no control over poor planning in the service schedule. You can and should do better. Dason is amazing. More

I have always enjoyed going to James Woods. Especially when I first met Mr. Woods in 2000. He was welcoming, kind and genuine. My husband started purchasing his trucks here as well. I recently had my first oil change and tire rotation on my 2026 GMC Sierra 1500. Dason was my Service Advisor. Dason, was very cordial and took care of my service needs. The service didn't take long at all, the customer service waiting area was nice and had fresh coffee. Everything, including the restrooms was nice and clean which made my visit even more pleasant. I am grateful to see that the dealership is still continuing the service with excellence like Mr. Woods always did. Thank you Dason! More

I was in the market looking at different vehicles. I had seen several SUV’s and then it was my turn to visit at James Wood’s in Decatur. There I was taken care pronto by a salesman name of Billy Balad I had seen several SUV’s and then it was my turn to visit at James Wood’s in Decatur. There I was taken care pronto by a salesman name of Billy Baladares! I have not driven or owned a GMC/Buick prior and Billy gave me a tour of several vehicles and answered my concerns with knowledge and patience! I decided on a Buick Enclave Avenir! Billy’s professional attitude and friendliness was very appreciative! All contact with the employees with a pleasure to deal with! Would recommend James Wood GMC Dealership with confidence. More
