The service managers were helpful and friendly. I was in for 40k service on my F-150, was told there wasn't much to it. I used to get a sheet that listed the things checked and if they were in spec I was in for 40k service on my F-150, was told there wasn't much to it. I used to get a sheet that listed the things checked and if they were in spec. No sheet this time. There are a number of things to be inspected at 40k, the only thing they told me was they checked the brakes. Now I look at the recommended maintenance and there are a number of suspension, cooling, wheels, exhaust, transmission things to be inspected. Were they inspected? I don't know... I was able to use my Ford Pass points this time, that was great. I like to have a running record of ALL the work done, including inspections. I can then see what I may have to address at next visit and plan for it; brakes, battery, heater hoses, linkages... My last truck I had for 21 years, and always used Maibachs, always good treatment and information, please keep this tradition. Having worked in maintenance for over 40 years, I think it is essential to see incremental wear records. My suggestion is to have those service record sheets again. More
