Awesome personal service I went in to test drive a vehicle that I found online, but it wasnt on the lot yet. So Dave got me in a 2019 Sonata for an AMAZING price. I didn't have the necessary documentation to take the car home day of, but they worked with me well past closing time to make sure everything was ready for me to take home the next day. More

Typical, average experience I am satisfied with my dealings with Suntrup. I got the car that I liked at a price within my budget. I walked away relatively no worse for wear and I am satisfied with my dealings with Suntrup. I got the car that I liked at a price within my budget. I walked away relatively no worse for wear and I'm in-love with my ride. Perspective clients should believe the negative AND the positive reviews about Suntrup. Yes they tag team you. Yes they pull all the typical "dealer tactics" you're warned that dealers will pull to make a sale. Me: "I'm already Financed" Suntrup: "We'll give you the price you want but you have to finance with us." Me: But I'm already Financed... Suntrup: "Finance with us and then refinance with your bank after a few months" Me: "Finance with you at what APR?" Suntrup: "Oh don't worry about the APR because you're gonna just make about 2-3 payments to us and then refinance with your bank..." Me: Hey, you know we agreed upon a price of "XXXXX", Suntrup: "No, well the salesman did the math wrong, the price is really "XXXYZ" Me: But that's not what we negotiated... You'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt that it's just typos or innocent mistakes, but then you remember these guys work numbers ALL DAY LONG. Funny how the "innocent mistakes" are always skewed in their favor...never mind how those "innocent mistakes," if you don't speak up about them, might affect your bottom line when it comes to your budget. I don't know if I'd recommend Suntrup. It depends on the person I'm recommending Suntrup too. If the buyer/customer is naive or vulnerable, I wouldn't recommend them going to Suntrup out right, at least not alone by themselves, However, If the buyer/customer is well versed and experienced with car buying negotiations and dealer tactics, I'd recommend Suntrup. They have REALLY nice cars. Dealer tactics are par for the course. They're not personal. It's business. Their goal is to maximize profit and up- sell stuff. Do your homework, have a solid support system and you can go to ANY dealer and get a good deal. SUNTRUP is as good as any. My salesman was David, he let me drive two cars. He listened to me and actually told me about the car that I ultimately purchased. LOVE HIM FOR THAT. He kept following up with me to help keep my interest and he reached out to me which ultimately facilitated me driving off in my new ride. I pretty much annoyed him. But potentially being annoyed by a cautious customer is ALSO par for the course when selling and buying cars! Joey (?Jake) the Finance Manager gave me a good deal for my budget. And Bobby the Finance Manager finished the deal with all the paper work. Overall they're hard working guys. I just feel compelled to tell the truth. Suntrup is not an AWESOME dealership. It's atypical dealership. But who needs lemonade and cookies? I just needed a car. These guys provided it. When or if the need ever arises again, I'd keep them on my radar to potentially buy from Suntrup again. More
