James, we are very sorry to hear you feel like we are trying to upsell you an unnecessary service. Derek was quoting maintenance services direct from the 2022 Buick Enclave Owner's Manual (Page 340) which recommends changing the automatic transmission fluid at 45,000 miles in extreme conditions. GM has advised us to use the "Extreme Conditions" schedule due to the range of hot and cold temperatures that Kansas endures. Our sole purpose is to help clients meet the demands of their life through their vehicles, which includes suggesting proper maintenance to help keep your vehicle running in top notch form.
