Great Deal on Certified Pre-Owned 2019 Honda Accord Touring In April of 2020 (during the COVID-19 crisis), I purchased a certified pre-owned 2019 Honda Accord 2.0T Touring (~6k miles) from Don Scheffler at Bomm In April of 2020 (during the COVID-19 crisis), I purchased a certified pre-owned 2019 Honda Accord 2.0T Touring (~6k miles) from Don Scheffler at Bommarito Honda (Hazlewood, MO). Don was courteous, professional, and funny. I actually test drove the Accord with Don mid-March, a week or two before the government-mandated shutdowns due to the crisis. At that time, the car was listed at $30,989, which I thought was a little too high even though it was fully loaded with Garmin navigation, a ton of safety tech, 19" black rims, low-profile tires, and all season floor mats. I was told at the time that the listed price was the best they could offer. So I decided to wait about a month while looking at cars offered by other dealers. By mid-April, Bommarito dropped the price of the same Accord to $28,725, which I thought was a steal so I decided to purchase it for $26,725 after they subtracted my trade-in value. For reference, this same fully loaded car brand new was listed at the time by Bommarito for ~37k. Take home message: Don is personable and a great salesman, Honda makes a fine product, and Bommarito's service is second to none. I would definitely buy a car from them again in the future. However, it pays to wait for an overall price (not monthly payment) that is right for you. The timing was such that I was able to walk away very pleased with my car buying experience. More

Very poor aftercare, promises not kept or put in writing I did a ton of research and had narrowed my list down to a few, and was delighted to see my top choice for a good price at Bommarito as they have a go I did a ton of research and had narrowed my list down to a few, and was delighted to see my top choice for a good price at Bommarito as they have a good reputation. I was able to quickly arrange a test drive with Don and he worked with me efficiently and kindly to figure out payment as my previous car was totaled in an accident. There was some minor scuffing on the front bumper of the car and he agreed to have the detail shop work on it before I picked up the car several days later. This did not happen, and I was unable to keep my rental longer to give him more time, so I'm stuck with the damage. He offered to let me drop it by after purchase, but I was unable to take off work to deal with it before the pandemic. While dealing with financing, Jim sold me a warranty with the promise the dealership would pay my deductible. When I read over the contracts I realized this was not in writing anywhere and emailed him and Don repeatedly over the following weeks asking for details in writing. Jim ignored all my emails; Don stated he would follow up with Jim but I never heard back. I don't have more time and energy to give this; when I have to take my car in for repairs I'll report back if the verbal promise was upheld. More

Easiest process ever I found a used vehicle online that I wanted to buy if it was as nice as advertised. I was driving 120 miles to the dealership so I asked the salesman I found a used vehicle online that I wanted to buy if it was as nice as advertised. I was driving 120 miles to the dealership so I asked the salesman Don Scheffler about the vehicle and he told me it was super clean. It was actually even nicer than he described. We could not find a single scratch, the interior was immaculate and it was a 2016 with 34,000 miles. I looked at all similar vehicles within 250 miles of Rolla where I live and could not find one even close to this price or quality of vehicle. Don had most of the paper work finished and already had the car filled up and detailed so that if we liked it we would not be at the dealership for a long time. We test drove the car, sat down with the finance manager, listened to the options, picked one, and drove off in the vehicle. We were not trading anything which made the process even smoother. Don Scheffler seems as honest as the day is long and I would not hesitate to buy a car from him again and cannot recommend him high enough to you. More
