Continuing finds It seems that ever since I moved out of my warranty that something other than what I took my car in for service has been found to be done. Although I have had a Honda since they hit the US, I have never had this much trouble. This is one reason why I bought a Honda the lack of a need to do anything other than stadard maintenance. More

Freeman Sparks was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. When I expressed interest in the Honda Accord Hybrid that had just been brought in to Gunn, he made certain to notify me as soon as it was ready to test drive. Patrick Ford, in finance, was most helpful and had everything ready to go when I went to his office. Every experience with Gunn, whether to purchase an auto or for auto service has been nothing less than pleasant. They are the easiest auto dealer to work with and hire the friendliest staff. I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else. More

Excellent Customer Service I have been a customer of Gunn Honda since 2001; purchased 2 vehicles from them and have had all my auto service performed at their facility. I have I have been a customer of Gunn Honda since 2001; purchased 2 vehicles from them and have had all my auto service performed at their facility. I have never had a bad experience. Every one I have dealt with has been professional, friendly and make every effort to assist me and to be sure all is to my satisfaction. I wholeheartedly recommend Gunn Honda to anyone/everyone. I'm about to purchase another vehicle. It's a safe bet it'll be from Gunn. More

Great Service My hats off to Mr. Donny Penn and the technicians who worked on my vehicle. I live 150 miles away and normally have a very busy schedule on my days of My hats off to Mr. Donny Penn and the technicians who worked on my vehicle. I live 150 miles away and normally have a very busy schedule on my days off so I have to plan my trips for vehicle maintenance and repair around my scheduled activities well in advance. Mr. Penn gave me an estimated time for completion of the factory recall item and the scheduled maintenance during a previous visit so I used that to plan my trip. Add to that the technicians working on my Accord confirmed what I suspected, that my tires were in bad shape and had to be replaced. They didn't have the particular brand I wanted so they had to obtain them. I was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Penn notified me that my vehicle was ready well within the schedule I had formulated. To sum it up, not only does it take a great Service Advisor like Mr. Penn who can remember even the smallest detail of a previous visit, it also takes a great staff of technicians who can do the work quickly and at the highest level of quality. More

Quick and excellent service experience! I arrived at my scheduled time and was immediately greeted by a service representative. He quickly diagnosed my need and spent a few minutes explains I arrived at my scheduled time and was immediately greeted by a service representative. He quickly diagnosed my need and spent a few minutes explains (and demonstrating) how to deal with my GPS issue. I was given the estimated cost and time of completion, and gave my cell phone number for them to call. At approximately the proposed time I received the call that the service had been completed. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and given my bill, The cost was as expected. I waited les than five minutes for my car to be delivered. It was clean and ready-to-go. More

The Insane High Cost of Auto Repair Took in 2008 Civic Hybrid with 68,000 miles due to a/c knocking. Initial estimate of $700 turned in to $4800 with Gunn saying a/c unit was "contaminat Took in 2008 Civic Hybrid with 68,000 miles due to a/c knocking. Initial estimate of $700 turned in to $4800 with Gunn saying a/c unit was "contaminated". Did not do repair, gave negative feedback thru e-mail to service manager but did not hear from him until I posted a negative review on Dealerrater. I filed complaint of total a/c failure at 68,000 miles with Honda Corporation asking them to cover the $4800 repair. I cited owning 4 Honda's (started buying 2002). The Gunn Service Manager Steve contacted Honda Corporation and got them to cover 50% of the repairs (better than nothing). In the mean time, sensor in hybrid system went out and now told it would cost $2300 for that repair. Service Advisor took $400 off the labor cost, still $1900 to repair. Added it to my complaint with Honda; as a "good will gesture" Honda offered to pay 50% again. Helpful but still looking at over $3000 for 2 repairs. I believe repair costs by all shops are greatly inflated because they all use "the book" that tells them the supposed "average time" to do a repair. If the book says 12 hours, they charge for 12 hours even if it only takes them 6 hours (the theory is if it takes more than 12 hours they only charge you 12 hours but does that ever happen?)...compare the "billed/charged" labor hours in a day to the hours all the mechanics worked and I believe you would be shocked. Gunn service people do as all shops do but they do it with a smile. More
