I will recommend Fred Anderson to my friends, who ask, with the above reservations on their overall preparedness. I have had a terrible purchasing experience with Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford. I bought the car at the beginning of October and wanted my plates transferred over to the new vehicle. A month passes by and I get a new plate in the mail from the dealership with no explanation. The next day I get a letter from the DMV saying that I had a lapse in insurance and that my plates I had been driving around with were still registered to my old car! On top of this, I have been waiting for over a month and a half now on an IOU from the dealership. I have had to reach out for updates multiple times now for updates that are always lacking in details. Multiple times I have been told that the sales associate will contact me and he never does. I have been lied to multiple times by Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford regarding this and I am still trying to unravel this whole issue. I will never use Fred Anderson for purchasing again! This is simply ridiculous. At least they gave me a good price otherwise everything would have been terrible. More
