2015 Mazda CX-9 airbag recall repair My wife and I have had excellent experiences with Jim Ellis in the past so please know that I write this review as calmly and sincere as I can. We to My wife and I have had excellent experiences with Jim Ellis in the past so please know that I write this review as calmly and sincere as I can. We took in our 2015 CX-9 for the airbag recall and, to our knowledge, that was repaired appropriately. However, we believe that our 20” wheel rims on the vehicle were damaged during the complimentary car wash that is provided with service. There are portions of all the rims that have been damaged with the worst damage on the passenger side (both front and rear rims). Now, we certainly can’t prove that the damage occurred while at the dealership, however we know for a fact our rims did not have this damage prior to our visit. When looking at the damage to the rims, it’s not a typical scrape or damage you would expect to see from hitting a curb...whatever did the damage has completely removed the finish in certain areas. In summary, I am not writing this review looking for free rims, but I would hope that if this damage did indeed happen at the dealership, you all would want to do the right thing for your customers and try to make it right. I buy my cars there, and I have them serviced there. Usually, Eddie takes care of my services. Went on Saturday. Jeremy took care of me. They took me when I was an hour and a half early without even raising an eyebrow. Regardless of who serviced my car, Jim Ellis’ standards of excellence always shine through whenever I am there. And their new showroom is BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for always taking great care of me!!! More

Lousy communication/customer service Called several days ahead to schedule maintenance for my vehicle and requested a loaner car while the repairs were being done. When I arrived for the maintenance appointment and tried to get the loaner car, a very rude woman in customer service demanded my drivers license, a credit card and auto insurance coverage. I provided her with my DL, credit card and proof of insurance card. She rolled her eyes at me and said proof of insurance didn't qualify, she must have my policy's coverage. Well if that is what they require, they should've clearly explained that on the phone when I originally scheduled the appointment but when I mentioned that to her she just huffed and said "well I don't know who you talked to but we have to have that coverage information". Rather than apologize for their mistake or offer to contact my insurance company on my behalf to get the coverage information, she said I could try to contact the insurance company and have them email her the coverage information. Awful customer service! More

Overall Poor - DO NOT GO This all starts at 7am: I had to have my Mazda towed to the nearest dealership which is why I chose here. I called to notify the service center that This all starts at 7am: I had to have my Mazda towed to the nearest dealership which is why I chose here. I called to notify the service center that my car was being towed there and only received silence on the other end. I then asked if they needed any information or if they would be able to look at my car that day. He responded, "Well, we have other appointments. We'll call you when your car gets here." I said, 'Okay, thank you.' and hung up. I tried calling back 2 additional times in the next 8 hours and no one answered. I then had to go online to the chat system and ask for an update regarding my car as I had heard NOTHING. 5pm (2 hours after the chat) they called and told me what needed to be done and that they could do it tomorrow. They told me I needed tires badly and I declined as I had just had tires put on the car this year (they ended up NOT needing to be changed). They also had other repairs that needed to be done and I approved those. I had my husband drop me off at the dealership at 7am the next day so I could wait for my car while it was being repaired. I had to wait 20 minutes just to tell Eddie (the only guy working who was also nice) that was checking people in that I was there and would be waiting. There were 2 other individuals at the desk as well who didn't even acknowledge me while I waited. I ended up spending less than 1 minute talking to Eddie! 3 hours later I was ready to go and excited to check out. The lady who checked me out didn't know who I was at first and told me to sign some other person's papers. I told her who I was and told her that those were not my papers to which she huffed, rolled her eyes and then started yelling who is this, where are her keys, where is her paperwork, etc. An utter mess and poor customer service. I will NEVER go back to this place nor recommend it to anyone I ever encounter. Spare yourself the time and horrible customer service and go to Roswell instead. More
