I called 9 dealerships to secure a Crosstrek to purchase for my daughter and only Jeff Stevens Sierra Subaru of Monrovia made it happen! When starting to find the car we wanted I was informed that due to t for my daughter and only Jeff Stevens Sierra Subaru of Monrovia made it happen! When starting to find the car we wanted I was informed that due to the covid shutdown of production and consequent computer chip lack of availability that there were basically no cars on the lot to purchase and that most, if not all cars were were being reserved via a deposit on incoming vehicles that had to be made in person. Sounds easy enough.. NOPE!...I had at least 3 Crosstreks that fit the description of what we wanted and was ready to reserve or purchase at various locations, but they wouldn't allow me to reserve with my credit card over the phone, so by the time I could get there the car was sold! I was willing to wire 15K to reserve and no one would allow which is unbelievable. It was the most frustrating experience. I called 9 Subaru dealerships!!... and ONLY Subaru of Monrovia would take my deposit over the phone in order to secure a car. Jeff Stevens at Sierra said he understood the challenge and would work with me to make it happen...and one week later we drove off with our Crosstrek! And then Edgar in Finance worked with me on a great deal for the extended warranty, so I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Jeff, Edgar and management for making this frustrating process smooth and easy!!! More
