The appointment for this interaction was made by the staff of Toyota Des Moines to fix a recalled software issue. I came to the dealership and waited while the software was updated. I was told initially that the update would take about two hours and it only took about one hour. Great job by all the staff involved!! Thank You!!! More

Service advisor wasn't very friendly or helpful. I asked her to explain in more detail the suggested repairs, and she was curt and just said we've suggested them the last several visits. I also asked about my cracked windshield, and she didn't engage the question, merely said they didn't repair them and gave me a card of someone who does. Also, I scheduled a pickup online and nobody came to pick my car up. When I called in, I was told I wasn't supposed to be able to book that service online. But obviously I was able to, and got a confirmation email and everything, but there was no effort by the dealership to acknowledge they'd screwed up or to try to make it better. More

I am extremely disappointed in the communication with the service area. My car had a pop-up message saying oil maintenance is due soon. I also had a windshield sticker with the current mileage my next oil ch service area. My car had a pop-up message saying oil maintenance is due soon. I also had a windshield sticker with the current mileage my next oil change was due. My husband drove my car an hour and a half to the dealership only to be told they won't do the oil change. The service tech said the windshield sticker was for when a tire rotation is due. I would not have had my husband drive three hours round trip for a tire rotation. I was worried about going over the mileage on the windshield sticker so my husband took the car in, while I stayed home with a 5-day old baby. More
