Toyota. Nowhere else. That's all I ever wanted to work for. I have joked that I bleed Toyota emblems. My Dad, Uncle, and Aunt all worked for Toyota when I was growing up. We were early adopters of the product here in Central Illinois. I think our 1989 Corolla was the first Toyota in Fairbury, IL. I started at Fort's as a Salesman on April Fools Day 1996. Hopefully, I haven't been the fool! It is an easy way for me to remember the date. I had never sold a car or worked at a dealer before, but I impressed the sales manager with my product knowledge. Later, as my Wife and I started a family. I needed a kid-friendly schedule and moved to the service department. This has been an opportunity to meet thousands of Toyota lovers! I can talk Toyota all day with you folks!

He took time to assure the car was spit/spot before I left with it, including cleaning my floormats to be used while waiting for new ones. He has also made follow up contact. Service dep't; Eric - my 1st service rep., now service dep't manager, always takes time to visit, and has always been a good listener Chad - current service rep., also a good listener, has been understanding and supportive as performance of previous vehicle declined --- always taking my calls & answering questions. Fort's Toyota of Pekin goes above and beyond for customers. I have purchased several vehicles from Fort's and each time the sales team was honest and fair. They provided a fair asking price. The sales team was very knowledgeable about their products (and competing products). They provided educational instruction on all aspects of the vehicle once it was delivered. I give Richard Hurley a 5 star rating The service team is outstanding. Most of the service times have been routine maintenance and I waited for the car to be done. Other times requiring longer service time, they have been accommodating in getting the vehicle to their shop for service, either pick up and delivery, car loaner for the day or transporting me home and picking me up. My vehicles have been serviced in the time frame expected, done correctly the first time and at the stated price. Every service advisor I've worked with has been very friendly. More
