I purchased my Subaru Forester from Tucson Subaru new and purchased the extended warranty on the assurance that the service department would carefully inspect the vehicle when I brought it in for service (fo purchased the extended warranty on the assurance that the service department would carefully inspect the vehicle when I brought it in for service (foolish, I know). I had the vehicle serviced at the dealer for every service interval since its purchase. However, they missed major premature deterioration of the bushings on the lower control arms that should have been replaced before the warranty expired. I even brought the vehicle in complaining of a shimmy before the warranty expired and the service department didn't find anything. I finally got fed-up with the problem and checked myself. Five minutes of labor later and I discovered the completely destroyed bushings. When I contacted the service department they took no accountability for missing the problem and did nothing to help, other than offer to schedule me for a full price repair. There are far better mechanics out there that will actually keep your car in safe working order for significantly lower cost. Avoid Tucson Subaru and save yourself some money and aggravation. I will not be returning. More
