Very happy with the buyer experience. My salesman George was patient and explained every single thing on the car before test drive. He was very polite and I can’t say enough about him! I purchased my KIA TELLURIDE at South Dade KIA back in February 2020, the car itself deserves 5 stars and has been one of the best cars I've ever had. My ONE STAR review is not for the brand KIA but for t February 2020, the car itself deserves 5 stars and has been one of the best cars I've ever had. My ONE STAR review is not for the brand KIA but for the management at this dealer ship. They are all nice and helpful while you are there to purchase a car, but once you step off the lot and they have your money, they forget what customer service is. My story starts after an accident and my Telluride is declared a total loss. Which by the way, the car saved my life and has the best safety and crash ratings of any car; again my issue is the management at this dealership and not the Telluride. When I purchased the Telluride at this dealership I added the GAP & EXTENDED WARRANY package, which totaled about 2K, but since my car was payed completely off by the insurance company and the GAP and extended warranty were never used, I am entitled to a 100% refund of the GAP and extended warranty that the dealership sold me. Remember ladies and gentleman, these extra packages the finance people offer at the dealership are not offered by KIA, they are offered and benefit the pockets of the dealership. After I received the pay off letter from the bank/lender I was told by someone at South Dade KIA to send an email with supporting documentation to a specific email, after having done that it's been over a week and I've yet to receive a confirmation email or any sort of acknowledgment that they've received my email. This leads me to my main issue with this dealership, I've called dozens of times and only get as far as talking to the operator, when ever I do get transferred to someone in accounting or management it rings and says that they are on another call and sends me to a full mailbox. It's been over a week since I started calling and this mailbox remains full. Worst of all there was one day that I called over half a dozen times and each and every one of my calls was ignored and sent straight to this full mailbox. As a past customer and someone who's looking to recover my 2K, it is irritating and frustrating to be ignored. It's unacceptable that no one there other than the operator (who I do not give fault) does not take 5min tops to speak to me and provide me with some confirmation and information on my refund claim. Employees and management at South Dade KIA should learn to take care of all their customers not just the ones stepping in the door to buy/lease a car. I caution anyone thinking of purchasing any additional packages/insurance such as GAP and the Extended Warranty to first consider my experience and take that into account before making any decisions. Consider going to another dealership where their customer service is better than at this place. I hope this review helps others and catches the eye of someone at South Dade KIA and they do something to improve customer service and get back to me with some assistance and much needed information on my claim. More
