Was a rough start but in the end the job got done!! With my first experience at Mazda was horrible! I had help from Natalie and Anthony! I feel like I wasted my time to accomplish nothing on April 2! Then to be told to come back the next day and I would be able to get a car! I came back the next day to find out that Natalie was not working and what I was told before was not done by Anthony! So I met with Grant , Ratish and Rachel. They all had to fixed what was messed up by Natalie and Anthony! I mean I can sit here all day and talk about my bad service at first but I do not want to discredit my out standing service I got from Grant,Ratish and Rachel that team right there made it all happen. From Grant ensuring my loan. To Ratish always making sure I was doing alright lightening up the situation. But then to Rachel who was working hard to find me the right car. And to Tommy who made the finance and paperwork process smooth. I think if I would have met them the day before I would have left that day with a car then the hassle I was put through! (It's such a relief to be able to walk onto a lot and not be "pounced upon" immediately by a seemingly desperate sales team.) Maverick America was a top-notch salesman: friendly, professional, knowledgeable and patient. He understood that we weren't prepared to make a purchase the first time we stopped in, so he kept in touch with us after that visit in an appropriate and casual manner. All of my questions were answered throughout the process, and by the time we returned to the dealership for the second time, we knew this was where we wanted to buy our next car. Mazda clearly makes a quality, highly-rated product - but even more importantly, we wanted our purchase to be supported and backed by a dealership that genuinely cares. Obviously, Mazda of Elk Grove puts their customers first by providing many extras services/benefits with no additional cost. Grant Salge made the negotiation process comfortable, friendly and fair. Once we were turned over to finance, Steve Wray took us through the next steps quickly and with a warm, human touch. Once again, we didn't feel the usual sales pressure that can often happen during financing. The day after making our purchase, Jessie Giles called to schedule installation of the upgrades we purchased. Every step was handled in a caring and upbeat manner that put us, the clients, first. Josh invited me down to the dealership for one of their "VIP" appointments. I was skeptical due to past dealership experiences that were not so pleasant, but what a great experience with EG Mazda. Not once did I feel pressured, or hurried to make a decision. Josh took the time to answer all of our questions and address any concerns. Josh also introduced us to the rest of the EG Mazda team. Everyone was friendly and genuinely seemed interested in making us feel comfortable throughout our time at the dealership. I love my new CX5 and will for sure recommend EG Mazda in the future. I dealt with Danielle and Maverick over email for about a week. Both handled themselves very professionally and at the end of the sale I felt like I was taken care of and received a pretty good deal. I finished the "deal" over email and spent only about an hour at the dealership signing papers (as my boys played a PlayStation racing game the entire time). Living in the Sierra Foothills, I had a limited selection of dealerships and cars to choose from. I knew I would have to shop within a 150 mile radius to find a car I wanted at a reasonable price. After researching cars online, I was pretty sure I wanted a Mazda CX5. I happened to be in Elk Grove running an errand with my dad and he suggested we stop at a dealership and test drive a CX5 to see if it was really something I would like driving. We met Ratish and he was extremely informative and helpful when it came to my test drive experience. He wasn't pushy and understood that we were just there for a test drive. When asked why we should choose Elk Grove over another Mazda dealership, he informed us of Elk Groves warranty, which really is a good deal. A couple month later, when it was time for me to purchase my car, I called several dealerships. As a busy mom, and knowing I would be taking at least a one hour drive down to a dealership, I wanted to do as much of my negotiating and shopping online and on the phone. None of the dealerships had the exact CX5 I wanted, but they all promised they could get it in. Even though I had enjoyed my test drive experience at ElK Grove, I intially decided to go with a dealership that was closer and was quoting me a better price but as the financing negotiations and applications got under way, I became frustrated because I couldn't get a number when it came to what percentage rate I would be approved or what my monthly payments would be. I emailed Elk Grove and Maverick and Grant not only were able to match the other dealerships price, they gave me a quote for what percentage rate we were approved at and what my monthly payments would be. I let them I would be there in the morning and they promised to get my CX5 there that night. When we arrived, Maverick was able to show me my car, take me for a test drive, help me set up my phone, and answer any questions I had about my new car. Since all my negotiating had been done over the phone and by email, we just had to sign the paperwork with Steve and go over the financing. Then it was out to my newly detailed car with a full tank of gas where we did a walk around and Maverick asked if I had any more questions. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Mazda of Elk Grove even if I had to drive an hour and forty minutes to get there. There was never any pressure and I felt like we were delt with fairly, with everything out in the open. I would highly recommend Mazda of Elk Grove! More
