Our experience with Sommer's Subaru was awesome. The sales & finance staff were exceptional at answering all of our questions and weren't "pushy". It was well worth the drive to Wisconsin. Being someone who is very turned off by the mere thought of having to deal with sales people, I never once felt uncomfortable or disrespected during the buying process at Sommers. There are very few car-bu of having to deal with sales people, I never once felt uncomfortable or disrespected during the buying process at Sommers. There are very few car-buying outlets out there who treat their customers as they should, and Sommers is among this elite class. I worked with Grant Sommer who was courteous, engaged and amiable from start to finish and I cannot think of anything that could have been done better. Grant was exceedingly accomodating in his efforts to put together the buying arrangement which was slightly more challenging than the average transaction on account of my remote proximity in the NW 'burbs of Illinois. He kept a close eye on the timing of delivery of the 2011 Subaru Outback I reserved and even sent pictures of the car once it arrived. The entire process demonstrated how it is possible to synthesize top-notch customer service and modern technology without sacrificing the element of personal attentiveness. More

After alot research I decided to purchase a Subaru Forester. I had contact w/ several dealerships from Green Bay (where I live) down to Milwaukee. Sommer's was the only dealership that just answered m Forester. I had contact w/ several dealerships from Green Bay (where I live) down to Milwaukee. Sommer's was the only dealership that just answered my questions. There was no push to buy from them. There was no pressure that b/c they were spending so much time w/me that I was obligated to buy from them. Nobody made me feel stupid for asking so many questions. Their email team is awesome. They gave me a quote that was where it was suppose to be according to the research I had done. I worked w/ that as my baseline. I'd get info from other dealers and email Angela or Tina w/ questions or clarifications and they presented me the info I needed to feel like an informed buyer. Sommer's always had the lowest price but I felt I should buy local so I tried to "deal" w/ other dealerships closer to my area. They were not willing to work w/ me. I was concerned about buying from a dealership so far away, but everyone I dealt w/ from the email team to financing team were excellent,which made me comfortable w/ my purchasing decision. I got a 2011 Forester for just a coule of hundred dollars more than a preowned 2010 which was what I was initially looking at. More

I ordered a vehicle through Sommer's Subaru and had nothing but excellent service. The vehicle arrived quickly, I was able to pick it up in a timely fashion and there was no pressured sales or anything nothing but excellent service. Grant Sommer was professional during the entire process. Not only was the pre-owned G6 GT in near perfect condition, but the Sommer's staff helped me to develop a comfortable payment and warranty plan. I cannot recommend Sommer's enough. I chose to do my negotiations via email, and sent the same communication to several dealerships within 90 minutes of my home. Grant responded quickly and to the point - I could tell from the start that he would be very easy to deal with. Everything from the pricing, to configuring options on the car, to placing the order was exceptional. I didn't feel pressured a single bit about my purchase. Of the ones that I contacted, Sommer's was almost the furthest dealership from my home and I had to travel an hour one way to get there (once to order the vehicle and the second time to pick it up - I ordered it to my specifications), but it was completely worth it and I would have driven triple the distance to patronize them. All of this and they offered the best price on the vehicle of all the dealerships I contacted. Going into my search for a dealership, I had the mindset that I didn't like car salesmen and this would be an unpleasant experience no matter what, and Grant and Sommer's proved me wrong. I am recommending them to everyone I know in the market for a car, and I will be a repeat customer when the time comes in the future. More

This was the most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had (in my nearly 6 decades of life.)There was no pressure from the sales person. The sales person was responsive to all my questions, making himself available through email and phone contact for any questions I had in the process. It was great to deal with only one person throughout the process and not be shuffled through a variety of "managers" as we did the final negotiation. The finance person I spoke with on the day I picked up my car was also very professional and pleasant to work with. He explained the various options I had with no pressure. At the time of delivery, the sales person (Grant) went through every feature of the car to make sure I was aware of how everything worked. I would rank this experience as an A+. More

My first contact was Grant who responded within a couple of minutes to my online inquiry of a used Subaru. He called back before I drove up to say the car had been sold. We discussed another vehicle and I told him I was driving over 100 miles to his dealership based on their reputation of excellent customer service. He told me he would have a consultant waiting for me. As soon as I arrived I was introduced to George Katsafanas who was friendly and very nice. We went for a test drive and he was very knowledgable about Subarus. He told me to try different things to experience the all wheel drive and see how the car felt to me. We drove city and highway and I really got a chance to try the car. I had brought in a vehicle to trade in and they made sure I was satisfied with the price and I was able to take my beautiful '06 Impreza home that day. I never felt pressured, they never wasted my time and they gave me the best experience I have ever had buying a car. I set the bar very high and Sommers exceeded my expectations. It was worth the drive. Just as Subaru is the only car I will buy, Sommers is the only dealership I will consider and the one that I will recommend to others. More

My first experience with the Sommer's dealership was excellent, as I was greeted by the friendly staff and immediately inroduced to an extremely competent salesperson. My many questions were answered thoroughly as I went through the process of deciding which features I needed on my new vehicle. The convenience of being able to test drive the vehicle was especially helpful. I would definitely recommend the dealership highly and look forward to receiving and servicing my new car there! More
