Ideal leasing/trade-in experience I came in with a bit of a tough situation. I had a different brand car coming off lease--it was over miles and had a dent in the side door. I was hoping to get a lease on an Odyssey without too much trouble about my lease turn in. I'd dealt with a different area Honda dealer who had made the process feel really complicated and extremely frustrating. I have a young child who is medically complex and had not had the energy to concentrate on all of it...and was, frankly, going to buy out my lease to avoid the bother of dealing with the whole to-do around negotiating with a car dealer. But a few days before buying out my old van, I'd decided to just to check out what Mohawk would offer. Honestly I wasn't too hopeful... However, from the moment I walked in the door I felt really well cared for. I was introduced by Scott (who I'd emailed to set up the appointment) to Greg, the sales manager, and Camren, the salesman I dealt with. They were all very friendly and thoughtful. My daughter was able to play in the kids area with her nurse while I met with Camren and test-drove the Odyssey. I felt like the tone of the whole place was really comfortable--I didn't feel like I was being dealt any lines or being pushed into making a decision before I was ready or before I had time to process. We settled on what I feel is a really fair price relatively quickly. Greg came up with a solution that dealt with my existing car in a really smart and efficient manner that made my life so much easier. Camren communicated via email and text over while I was making a decision--answering follow up questions promptly and thoroughly. Clearly they are set up to earn repeat business...not to get a one and done deal. And when it came to delivery of the car...well, they actually delivered it right to me. Camren suggested this when I was having trouble finding coverage for care for my daughter so I could go do the pick up. So, he had Jimmy drop the car off to my house. I had a time pinch, and Jimmy made everything fly buy quickly and before I knew it my old car was gone and the new one was in my driveway ready to drive. I will be doing all of my service at Mohawk (and making use of their nice waiting area and children's play room!)...and when it comes time I know where I will be getting my next car. More

Impressive Dealership! In spite of its large size and large staff, from the moment we walked in the door at Mohawk Honda, everyone we encountered was professional, courteous In spite of its large size and large staff, from the moment we walked in the door at Mohawk Honda, everyone we encountered was professional, courteous and attentive. We were not ignored which has been the case at other busy dealerships. Having called ahead, we'd spoken with Amber on the phone; upon our arrival she introduced us to Camren McKenna, who then paid close attention to what we were looking for and made every possible effort to make the car available. After looking closely at a similar vehicle on the lot, Camren then introduced us to two additional members of the team, Greg Johnson and Brad Cittadino. The word "team" is really important - they definitely work well together as a team. These gentlemen consulted with us concerning the availability of the car we want (they are currently in high demand and shipment is slow and few) as well as the process of assessing the value of our trade-in. We live about 130 miles from this dealership; our local dealer had given us what we felt was a very good deal but would not have a car available until perhaps even October or later. That led us to expand our search. Mohawk matched the deal (and was actually a bit more generous!) Before committing, my sense of loyalty led me to check with my home dealer who did not yet know I'd opted for the next model up. As it turned out, my local dealer has just what we want coming in at the end of August or beginning of September, as does Mohawk! This was a difficult decision but ultimately we went with my local dealer simply out of loyalty to the more local business. I feel confident we would have been delighted with making a purchase at Mohawk. I would totally recommend asking for Camren if you are looking for a Honda! More
