Frustrating On 9/13/18 I brought my car in for an Oil Change. Pulled in it was sure chaos (surprised because when I made the app't the day before app'ts were wid On 9/13/18 I brought my car in for an Oil Change. Pulled in it was sure chaos (surprised because when I made the app't the day before app'ts were wide open) no technicians or anyone for a few minutes, I sat in my car all the other cars were empty, finally a guy who did not have a technician shirt on brought me to a service counter inside and we stood there for quite a while, while others were taken ahead of me. I had an app't and said to the guy I sure hope they had app'ts because it did not look good and he even said for sure. When I finally was able to talk with Matthew, no I am sorry you had to wait so long. I was also asked if I wanted the 90,000 xx done and asked how much that was, I was quoted $522. I said are you kidding me. I am retired, I can't understand how seniors cannot get a discount. Actually, I don't think a lot of people could afford it and if they found something wrong another $$$$$$$. I said no at this time. Ue called when my car was done and while going over what they did I noticed my battery said bad. I did not take it well because my battery was replaced last year (after they had said my battery was good at the last oil change and the next morning it would not start and I had to pay a lot for the new battery, he stated they had a new gal tech and I said that is no excuse, she should have said something and Ue was going to have my go with a bad battery review. He had someone check it and said it was good, he said to run the car for 1/2 an hour. That did not set well with me, I live only 6 miles from Subaru and I am not going to put more miles on the car when I did not have anywhere else to go. He had Greg talk with me about setting up an app't to have the battery gone over, (would take 2 hours according to Ue. I had to make another app't for the next day, did not take that long ) , Greg told me Ue should not have sent me on my away with issues. Greg said he would talk with Ue and correct what he should have said to me. Greg told me he put something on his battery of a truck he did not use all the time to plug it in when he had not used it. I asked if they could put one on my car at no expense to me and he said yes, they would have to order it. I don't drive the car that many miles anymore and did not know that you needed to put something on the vehicle. While waiting I received a text from Matthew, it said good or replace? nothing else so after I sent a text back to Matthew asking What that meant, and not getting a response from Matthew, I went to Greg and showed him the text. Greg said that should have went to the team working on the car. Greg was gone when the car was ready. Matthew assisted me and actually said he meant the text to come to me. I asked about the part that Greg said he would order. When the part came in he would contact me for an app't, they contacted me the next day and I was able to have it installed Tuesday at 1:00, I had my husband come with, took about an hour. No information was given about what the part was and another person brought us to the car and showed us what it was. The next day Robert (my husband) decided to check it out, went out and it showed a red light when he plugged it in and then he said it was green. It was a lot of running around that I did not feel I should have had to go through. Matthew was not very accommodating when I had to work with him. Hope I never have to go through any of this again. More

Good Service, Friendly interactions I had excellent service, was provided a loaner car due to the length of the service, and was happy with the quality of the result. My only complaint is that during the service, information on timeline was not communicated clearly. This ultimately didn't influence much, but updates on when I could reasonably expect my car back would be the only thing to improve. I highly recommend both the service station and its employees. More

They go over the full inspection with you. There never high pressure to buy an additional service and they never talk down to you Their sales people are fantastic. I worked with Matt Fox who is the best I ecer worked with. He lays out the options, thoroughly answers questions and there is no pressure or up selling. I just bought my third Subaru and my second on from White Bear. I received a lower quote from another dealership but I stayed with White Bear because of the people, quality of service and level of trust I have in them. More

He's been very helpful and in-depth with explaining things, which included warranty covered work and standard service appointments. Most recent visit Greg assisted me. He called me back in his estimated time of doing so and gave me all the information I needed. Super accommodating whether I've stayed at the dealership, taken the shuttle van, or gotten a free loaner vehicle during warranty covered work. Price is higher than a local shop, but quality of work has always been really good and they have a very nice facility. Everyone I've dealt with has been friendly and helpful. More

The staff was prompt, courteous, professional and honest. They fixed the problems at no charge and sent me on my way in my freshly washed car. I am a happy camper. The waiting area was impeccable; the complimentary muffins, cookies, fruit , coffee and juice were a nice surprise. Even though I live 175 miles away, I will return to White Bear for servicing whenever it is possible. More

Amazing Service I didn't buy a car from here but I went in to this dealership to get my car serviced because it was the closest and highest rated Subaru dealership I I didn't buy a car from here but I went in to this dealership to get my car serviced because it was the closest and highest rated Subaru dealership I could find in the twin cities area. Originally I thought there was something seriously wrong with my car because I went to Midas to get an oil change and they told me that my 2015 Subaru Legacy had a leaking oil gas pan gasket, something that only happens when a car has more that 100,000 miles and mine only has around 52,000. After leaning this info from Midas they offered to fix it for me, I said no because I wanted a second opinion from some other source and because I wasn't ready to cough up $1,000.00 to get my car fixed, that's when I called White Bear Acura Subaru to set up an appointment with them. The people on the phone were very nice and were able to set up an appointment for me the very next day. When I arrived at dealership I told them what the people at Midas told me, they quickly took care of me and told me that if it is something like that they would have to keep my car for more than a day and for that reason they would have to lend me a vehicle. I asked how much it would cost and they said it was free, something that surprised me very much. When the loaner vehicle arrived I was even more surprised to learn that it was a brand new 2018 Subaru Impreza that they were going to let my use until they fix my vehicle. I left my vehicle with them on Thursday and they had it fixed by Tuesday, as it turns out the people at Midas lied to me or the person that change the oil in my car at Midas did not know what they were doing because the White Bear Acura Subaru mechanics told me that everything was well and that the oil cap was loose and the only thing needed to fix my problem was another oil change. Since the people at Midas didn't do the oil change properly my car leaked a bunch of oil and needed more. To summarize I only had to spend $85.00 to fix my car instead of the original $1,000.00 and not only that but I got to drive a brand new car for 5 days which was a blast. The people at White Bear Acura Subaru are dedicated to serve their customers and trustworthy and because of this experience that I had with them they have gained a life time customer, I will definitely come back to get my car serviced with them and one day even buy a new car from them.
