Extremely frustrating!! I leased a vehicle from Lexus of North Miami on Sept 3 and part of the transaction was trading in my wife’s Mercedes C 250. Sales representative Nina I leased a vehicle from Lexus of North Miami on Sept 3 and part of the transaction was trading in my wife’s Mercedes C 250. Sales representative Nina and Manager Gus Arcon facilitated the deal. Gus sent us to Robert Nelson in finance and he told us it would take approximately 10-14 days for them to pay off our vehicle and when they received the title then send us a equity check. On Sept 17th, I reached out to Robert in finance because our Mercedes still had not been paid off. He said he did not know why but would call me by the end of the day. On Sept 21st, I called Gus Arcon because I had not heard back from Robert and my vehicle had still not been paid off. Gus apologized and said he would have them overnight a check to Mercedes and Robert would call me back that day with the details. Sept 25th, my vehicle still had not been paid and I had not heard back from Robert or Gus. I called Lexus Corporate to complain, they told me to contact Lexus of North Miami Customer Service because they are independently owned. Robert from finance called me back and told me that their company was so big that the accounting department was overwhelmed and that’s why they had not paid off my vehicle. Funny though, it only took 1 week for Lexus to send me a payment invoice for my new vehicle. Frustrated, I called their customer service representative, Allison. Allison investigated the complaint and she and her supervisor, Samantha Thompson, called me back, telling me the same thing- that the company was so big that their accounting department was overwhelmed. However, she would have them overnight a check to Mercedes. I asked her how long it would take to receive my equity check, she stated it could be up to six weeks. On September 28- 25 days after I traded in my vehicle- it was finally paid off. I’m very frustrated dealing with Lexus of North Miami and feel it outrageous that it took 25 days to pay off my vehicle and ridiculous that it could take another 6 weeks or a total of 2 1/2 months to receive a equity check. Although we are enjoying our new Lexus, the frustration of dealing with this dealership with their lack of communication and efficiency is not worth the hassle. Take your business elsewhere!! I have voicemail and emails to verify my claims. More
