This was my first time experience shopping for a new vehicle from BMW of Silver Spring. I have visited the show several times in the past to just look at the cars while getting my old vehicle serviced n vehicle from BMW of Silver Spring. I have visited the show several times in the past to just look at the cars while getting my old vehicle serviced nearby. I had the pleasure of working with Harold Shelby on getting my new BMW X5. My buying experience was fairly straightforward with no doubts about all that was being explained to me by Harold. We had a pleasant experience from the test drive, explanation of functions of the vehicle. He took the time to tell us in detail about the car and constantly asked if we had any questions that we would like to ask. At no time did I ever feel pressured or intimated to buy anything. The financial portion of the deal was done Aaron Devane who was as equally pleasant and a pleasure to work with. I wanted to get rubber mats immediately for the vehicle and Harold helped expedite and install them as well. He introduced me to Donnie Mitchell who manages the parts department and helped get the mats that I wanted. The experience had at BMW of Silver Spring was excellent and I would do it again in the future. More

The vehicle I prioritized had the cognac interior and was AWD. However, because of Harold's excellent salesmanship and his professional persistence, I reconsidered and was convinced that not only do I want this car, but I loved working with this team. This was further confirmed by my interaction with Aaron Devane in finance and Sheriff Akeju, who Harold referred to as the My BMW Genius! What a team! They made a perfect first impression for me! And, the vehicle itself has exceeded my expectation as well. I am so so pleased with the performance and the handling of this vehicle. It just glides! I feel fortunate to have connected with Harold Shelby for my new car purchase. Not only is he an absolutely delightful person, but he is excellent at communicating with the client. He is patient with you, and works to address any concerns. I cannot express how much of a difference that makes. Open an honest communication is a real virtue. If that's not enough, Harold also goes above and beyond for you every step of the way. There are good people in the business, and he's certainly one of them. Gen Awanohara in the Finance Dept. was also very friendly. He was thorough, had all the "paperwork" ready to go and was patient with me. Although I ultimately declined to add on any extra services, I appreciate he took the time to explain them and they were reasonably priced. He was also quick to accommodate when it appeared we might have a slight misunderstanding in regard to the loan. More

After weeks of shopping around at several car dealerships in the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia area and encountering for example, either a " hurray-up you have to make a decision" push, to an, "I'll email you the invoice price in the morning" with no follow-through; I quickly became tired and frustrated with the process. A week ago I decided to give Mr. Shelby at BMW of Silver Spring a try. From the moment of the introduction, Mr. Shelby was welcoming, professional and very knowledgeable about the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing (I had never owned a BMW before). During the test drive he was especially patient and helpful as he taught me about the many features that are a part of the vehicle. Finally after deciding to purchase the vehicle, he literally walked me through the purchasing process making the process not only seamless but quick. I was finished with the actual purchasing process in about 2 hours. My entire experience was completely stress free.
