I’ve never had a better experience purchasing a car at a dealership. Harold Shelby was my salesman and he made me feel comfortable the entire time. After I describe the type of car I was looking for, he searched the inventory and found the perfect car for me. I didn’t feel pressured throughout the process. We took things step by step. Gen assisted me through the finance process and was pleasant as well. Gen was honest and gave me great advice. Even after I leaving the lot with my new car, Harold continued to keep in touch and check on me. I truly appreciate the BMW of Silver Spring experience. It is unmatched. 10/10! More

I purchased a 2021 BMW 750i from BMW of Silver Springs in October of 2021. The experience was fantastic. Harold Shelby was my salesperson and he is the best. He helped me secure a reasonably priced transport company to deliver the car to my door (I live in NC). We were able to negotiate price, sign paper work, pay for the car and get it delivered in 7 days. I am really pleased with the experience. I highly recommend Harold Shelby and BMW Silver Springs. Purchased my X5 M50i from Harold Shelby after literally walking away from another BMW due to terrible customer service. From first contact Harold treated me like a VIP and the VIP treatment continued even walking away from another BMW due to terrible customer service. From first contact Harold treated me like a VIP and the VIP treatment continued even after I picked up the car. Harold made sure I got the veteran discount (even though I didn't know there was one) and he kept me fully informed all the way through the process. Harold even sent me pictures of my car being loaded off the truck straight from the factory and stayed beyond closing time to allow me to pick up my car that same day. Harold has earned my current business and all of my future BMW purchases. There are two BMW dealerships closer but I will gladly take the longer drive to do business with Harold, Gen and the rest of the folks at BMW of Silver Spring. More

This is my first time buying a vehicle from a BMW dealership and I must say it was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. Harold Shelby was outstanding! 1/5/22 - I randomly browse the website and found my ideal X5 in consideration of trading the one I currently have; I didn't think I was going to actually go through with it, or qualify for what I found, but X5 in consideration of trading the one I currently have; I didn't think I was going to actually go through with it, or qualify for what I found, but I filled out the user friendly inquiry form and forgot about it. 1/6/22 - I get a prompt and pleasant call from Harold Shelby, a Client Advisor, who scheduled me to come in for a test drive and to see what could be done... long story short... I got the truck I wanted and had a great time in the process! Harold had all the patience with me and my own indecisiveness. He was GREAT at assisting me with this round of car buying: answering a million questions, providing viable and relevant alternative options (at my request) and being transparent with the entire process - which in car buying is CLEARLY IMPORTANT! Additionally, the finance manager, Aaron DeVane swiftly and efficiently processed my application and secured the best loan option for me. I greatly appreciated this overall experience from the courtesy, professionalism, knowledge, and optimal customer service provided by both Mr. Shelby and Mr. DeVane. Harold Shelby was a truly outstanding BMW salesperson. From the first email exchange to when we drove off the lot with our new X5, he was friendly, helpful, patient, and resourceful. He helped us deal with a shortage of cars to test drive (ultimately finding us a previous year model to drive) to the removal of touchscreens in new cars. He was consistently honest and thoughtful. This was my first ever experience with BMW, and Harold really impressed me and represented the BMW name extremely well. He has also followed up multiple times to make sure all things are good with my new X5. I would readily recommend him to others—he is an 11 on a 1-10 scale! More

Harold Shelby is at BMW of Silver Spring and when I buy my next BMW, it will be from Harold so if he goes to another BMW dealership I need to know. I purchased my new X5 from Harold and this was the car buying experience I wanted to have but didn’t think was possible. Because of how personable, knowledgeable, and competent Harold is, I actually enjoyed buying my X5, got what I wanted, had fun and it wasn’t stressful! Harold was available to answer all my questions through the process, and his follow up and follow through after the purchase has been excellent. Overall, Harold Shelby just made my purchase a very pleasant and professional experience. Thank you so much! More

I stopped in to the location randomly one evening, pretty late actually, maybe 730 pm, but this location stays open until 9pm which was later than most other BMW locations. I recently totaled a vehicle and was having so much trouble finding a replacement for my 2018 X5. I wanted to consider leasing a vehicle but had so many questions as I have never leased before. The staff at the front desk promptly paged a sales rep to the showroom. Harold Shelby popped up quickly and cheerfully, despit it being so late. He answered my questions directly and gave me everything that I needed to make a decision. I love that he was so transparent about the financial details of the transaction. No hiddens fees and fluff like so many other dealers. He worked with me on the numbers and offered so many cash incentives. He took the time to show me multiple vehicles and the features that I wanted. He even pulled the 2022 X5 right up front for me at 8pm just so that I could take a look. I told him that I needed to think on it, and he actually was very accomdating. No pushy sales tactics nor pressure. I ultiimately did decide to get the vehicle that we looked reviewed. I wanted to make the transaction as quick as possible for when i returned to the dealer, so Harold let me know exactly what online forms I needed to fill out, and what documents to email him. When I came in, all I had to do was sign and drive. Harold even gave me some welcome gifts and had a BMW genius review some quick items before I drove off. He set up the vehicle for me in the myBMW app as well. Harold emailed me a few days later to check in and see if I had questions or concerns. The customer service he provided was clearly top notch. Gen Awanohara in finance was amazing as well. He went the extra mile to accomdate me as far as my down payment method, and he made calls to get all of my questions answered. He went over everything with me line by line so that I was fully aware of my options and payments. I have worked with several BMW dealerships but I havve to say that Silver Spring is by far the best. They really treat their customers as more than a sale, but actual people and human beings and I just love that, its becoming rare from car dealerships. I cannot say enough positive things about Harold, Gen and BMW of Silver Spring. More
