Great experience buying my 2025 Volvo XC40 at Smythe Volvo. Kyle Jackson, my sales associate, was a pleasure to work with. Kyle was very knowledgeable about the cars and took the time to answer all my questions. He took me for a long test drive to check out the car and never hurried me or pressured me. He clearly loves Volvos and wanted to make sure I bought the right car for me. He gave me a fair deal and did everything he promised me. The car I selected was still in transit to the dealership so Kyle kept me informed on the status of the car every step of the way until I took possession a week later. Kyle even took the time to take pictures of my car once it arrived at the dealer and sent them to me. I would not hesitate to return to Smythe Volvo and buy another car from Kyle. Everyone I met and interacted with at Smythe made me feel like I was part of the family. More

I called Smythe Volvo yesterday looking to purchase a used Toyota Prius. I saw the add on Car Gurus, and honestly I had no idea who I was calling. Tyler was very helpful and gave me his personal phone number. He called me back immediately with some information, so communication was excellent. I drove 1 hr and 40 minutes to get there and I was quite surprised when I walked in. I felt like I was walking into a Volvo City, and even though they had very high priced new cars, and I was coming in for a relatively inexpensive car, I still felt as though I was treated like royalty. I was then given to Jesus Garcia in sales who was very patient and kind and wasn't at all bothered when I chose not to purchase the Prius. After Jesus showed me the inventory of all their used vehicles, I test drove a 2012 S60 and I just fell in love with that car. Uh oh, I think I'm now a Volvo girl. Everything was very straight forward, there were no hidden fees, and I never felt pressured in any way. Henry was also very helpful in financing, and Jay was happy to explain all the features of the car in a clear and easy to understand way, and he set up my blue tooth for me. I hope to have this car for the rest of my old age life, but if I ever need another car, I'll come back to Smythe Volvo. More

We felt ripped off when charged $250 for an adapter for our just purchased electric car that was never mentioned was needed. We had said we would be using a Tesla charging station near our home and the sal our just purchased electric car that was never mentioned was needed. We had said we would be using a Tesla charging station near our home and the salesman never mentioned you needed an additional adapter for that and an account with Tesla. As, Jay was leading us out through service, he introduced us to Regina who said of course we needed adapter..” everything is Tesla”. I thought they were giving the charging device for free and couldn’t believe they were charging us $250, literally going out the door! When I emailed the salesman (who begged us for a “10” review), my dissatisfaction he emailed what I consider a snarky email back , took no responsibility for his direct miscommunication . The Smythe philosophy “ of treating every person as a member of our family “, was not our experience. I do want to say however, that Jay was outstanding and spent a great deal of time explaining the car to us . More
