Very Helpful I went to Honolulu Ford to look for a truck to send to a neighbor island for yard work. I had sent an inquiry through the Honolulu Ford website and was eventually contacted by Isaac Magofna who was very helpful in finding something I could use. Initially I was looking for a midsize truck but I also know that demand for these trucks are very high and pound for pound a bit pricy compared with full size trucks. There was a line of used F-150's so I decided to test drive one of them. I realized that it was a 4x4 with towing capabilities which would come in handy as a work truck, so I decided to purchase that truck. The price was mid 20's and I had told Issac that was my budget. When we went to work on the price, our initial goal was to out the door at 25K. However, that came back at much higher than that and I was disappointed that knowing where I wanted to be, the Manager would not do that....OK, I get it, it's a business. However, I wasn't lowballing, I did mention it to Isaac so he tried to make an adjustment so we split the fees by making the price 25K, and adding half the fees. So I probably overpaid just a bit, but perhaps if there's a next time, when I say what my budget is, then try to accommodate that. You never know, you could be making people overstretch their financial ability. I could afford it so I didn't mind since time was an issue for me. Standard auto sales practice I suppose. The people there were nice and friendly though....never met the guy saying "yes" or "no". More
