Nichole, thank you for taking the time to write this. I want you to know that reading your experience is deeply concerning to me. What you described is not acceptable — not the delays, not the confusion, and certainly not the feeling of being ignored or pushed aside. When someone drives three hours, entrusts us with a trade-in, and makes a major financial decision, they deserve clarity, urgency, and follow-through. You did not receive that, and for that I am truly sorry. Being without a deposit refund, having payments pulled after a trade, and experiencing payoff errors — especially with a large institution like CEFCU — should never feel like “no big deal.” I understand completely why this would feel stressful and upsetting. You’re right: for families, this matters, and it should have been treated with the seriousness it deserves from the very beginning. I also want to apologize for the lack of timely communication. That alone can make a frustrating situation feel unbearable, and that is on us. I would like the opportunity to personally review your deal, the payoff process, and the refund status to ensure this is fully corrected and closed properly. I am asking my team to escalate this immediately so you are not left waiting any longer.
