I worked with James Andrews-Wells on a Honda Odyssey new purchase. He gave a price that was reasonable of $1000 under MSRP over the phone. I accepted but it was late at the end of the day so I could not co purchase. He gave a price that was reasonable of $1000 under MSRP over the phone. I accepted but it was late at the end of the day so I could not come to the dealer to finalize the transaction. Because I could not come that evening, I said I could come the next day. His tune quickly changed to say it’s a "one day sale price". I told him I don't play that game. Prices don't change in 24 hours. I ended up buying the Odyssey at a nearby dealer for $2,000 under MSRP without playing any silly sales game in this day and age. More
