My wife and I knew exactly what we wanted and we were not willing to settle for a different trim, color, or one lacking the accessories we desired. We also did not have time to wait the 3+ months it would ta willing to settle for a different trim, color, or one lacking the accessories we desired. We also did not have time to wait the 3+ months it would take to special order. There were no HiHys available within a 200 mi radius that met our wants, as confirmed by this and the four other local Toyota dealerships that were competing for my business. Olivia and James were able to scour through the database and locate a not-yet-built HiHy that met our specs but with one caveat, it was allocated to another dealership. They negotiated with the other dealership to have what would be our Blizzard Pearl HiHy Platinum delivered straight from the assembly plant to Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills. It was built on St. Patrick's Day, and eight days later, we took delivery with five miles on the odometer. Within one month of us walking through the door, we had exactly what we wanted. Not once did Olivia try to get us in a different spec HiHy for an easier sale. Each of the other dealerships I was working with tried to convince me to buy something close in spec that they had on their lot. Overall, our experience was great and we really appreciate the exceptional customer service. And a special thanks to the service department for getting the car cleaned up first thing in the morning and not making us wait another day to take delivery. Cheers! More
