While price was certainly a large consideration, we also factored in the ease and comfort of purchasing a used car. Many times the instant pressure and annoyance of a sales person intrudes on the experience of "looking " a car over. While I appreciate the effort, it detracts from the car buying experience. Using cars.com to narrow the field, Schaller Acura had exactly what we were in the market for. When we arrived, we were given ample "alone" time to view the vehicle and when we wanted to "kick some tires and check the interior" James obliged us immediately and was available without being intrusive. The test drive went well and he was quick to answer all my question-even with a product that was not inline with the dealership brand. When we returned he went right to the service advisor and relayed all the answers to my tech questions i.e. SH-AWD/ RT4WD. We already had financing through Bank of America ( which I recommend as much as I do the dealer/salesman) It was just a price option and we quickly agreed. While I was tired and had car fatigue, the price was fair. I want to add at this point that the vehicle had two small hiccups. The first was noticed during inspection of the vehicle and was promptly serviced-amazingly quick and I am glad they offered the immediate service. The second was the keys issued to us upon purchase. While we received two keys, only one was remote entry/alarm and the second was a valet only key that would only open the driver door and ignition. I contacted James the following day ( as I felt that the vehicle was sold with 2 remote entry key fobs + 1 valet ) that the high price of another remote access key with chipset and programing should have been discussed during negotiations. But this was clearly my mistake and as this is not an Acura product, I assume no blame or error on the salesman. In the end, James and his managers helped us much better than I could have expected. No pressure, no hassle, no drama, no vulture crowding us while we talked and this purchase was the easiest time I have ever had purchasing a used vehicle. The paperwork was quick and painless and the car was detailed better than new. It was rainy but the detailer deserves kudos as well! More

Schaller's reputation for service was only heightened by our experience with Jim Merrill. He made our second purchase at Schaller today one of the best we've experienced and was impressed with the time Jim gave to us in narrowing down the options for the purchase of a used MDX. Jim gave us an in creditable amount of time to insure we understood the product we were considering; how it operated and how it contributed to the driving experience. Technology is great but without Jim’s guidance in walking us through the basics of the vehicle we’d still be on page 5 of the operating manual. We will highly recommend both Jim & Schaller to our friends and family when they see and experience our awesome 2012 MDX. More

After having some not so good service at another Acura dealer, my husband and I decided to try Schaller to find a used TL. We are so happy we did. Jim Merrill worked with us, found a car for us and provided excellent customer service. When we first visited Schaller they did not have a car available that met our needs. Jim promised he would call us when a car came in that did. Happily a few weeks later we received a call from Jim and he found the car I am driving today. Jim was patient, answered all my questions and made the entire process easy. I would recommend Jim and Schaller to anyone. More

I live in Western Mass, so it is a trek to get to Schaller Acura but it was worth it. James Merrill was easy to work with - very straightforward and patient as I shopped around. He and Brian in fin Schaller Acura but it was worth it. James Merrill was easy to work with - very straightforward and patient as I shopped around. He and Brian in finance were very accommodating. They minimized the number of trips I had to make to the dealership, and when it was time to pick up my MDX, they sent a driver to Massachusetts to get me. All in all a great experience. More

We had been looking at cars for quite some time and were impressed with the quality and performance of the Acura brand. I am pleased to report that we purchased our first Acura, a certified pre-owned TL on impressed with the quality and performance of the Acura brand. I am pleased to report that we purchased our first Acura, a certified pre-owned TL on 8/23/12. The quality, performance and reliability of the car were important considerations for us and we greatly appreciated the time and effort that Jim Merrill put in to make us comfortable with this purchase. Jim was great to work with. He asked us questions to get a sense for our needs and was very informative about the many features that the TL offered and worked with us to put the deal together. Jim and the rest of the Schaller team did a nice job to make this a very positive experience. More
