Horrible customer communication Two days after I drove the BMW off the lot, the check engine light came on and I noticed a roaring coming from the front end. I called, emailed, and texted the sales associate and manager to let them know so they could fix the issues and they told me to take it to the BMW dealership and that was it. They were adamant about no wanting me to bring the car back for them to fix. So after two days of arguing with them, the store manager finally assured me that I would not incur any costs when I take it to the dealership...i took it to the dealership and turns out they sold me a car that did not have a gas cap, which turns out to have been lost when they filled the tank up for me upon purchase. They also told me they took it to the BMW dealership when they first got the car in on trade, which was also a lie. I found this out by asking what dealership they took it to and I took the car to that specific dealership and was notified that the car had never been in there for any kind of service. The car needed a front wheel bearing, which jim ellis said they had replaced by the dealership already. That was a lie as well, i talked to the BMW advisor and he said the right front wheel bearing is the only one that has been replaced, and that both sides were factory parts from day one. So which bearing on what car did they replace at Jim Ellis?? Moral of the story is, if you want a luxury or performance car, go to the specific dealership for that specific car. I ran into the same issue with buying an SS camaro a week prior which is why I got my money back and traded for this BMW. Good luck consumers. More

Repeat Buyer This is my second time buying from Jim Ellis. I live over 1.5 hours away but still make the drive. I have worked with Steve Eason and Michael Battle This is my second time buying from Jim Ellis. I live over 1.5 hours away but still make the drive. I have worked with Steve Eason and Michael Battles both times and they made the buying experience very easy. There was a small issue with the Denali Yukon we bought this last time but Jason, the GM, made sure our every desire was met. Worth the drive and will always be a Jim Ellis customer and refer friends and family here. Just to put this into prospective, this is the first review I have ever written for anything ( including Amazon and I waste a lot of money on Amazon..haha) but felt Jim Ellis and the team deserved to be praised for their work that is often above and beyond of what should be expected.
