There's only one way that can be, and that's a corporate commitment to excellence. Believe me, they've hit the mark. Based on a briefly promising and then sour experience with our local Chevy dealer, my wife and I decided not to get a 2014 Suburban. A residual e-mail response from Ted Britt caught my eye, though. I was absolutely impressed with their apparent pricing, and decided to give them a call. I went from GM Jason to Omar, and knew within five minutes that I could do business with him. He was perfectly attentive, even intuitive, answering many of my questions before I could answer them. He was straightforward and earnest, and absolutely motivated to sell me a Suburban on my terms. Omar made it clear upfront that there was just about zero wriggle-room in the Internet pricing, and I appreciated his candor. He quickly grasped my desires and concerns, and moved heaven and earth to satisfy me...over the phone. Very, very flexible and creative. He set me up with a couple of his Suburbans, but I balked over internal concerns. Then he volunteered to sweep the area for other Suburbans more to my liking. In the event, Omar delivered on those other vehicle offers, via dealer-exchange, and still improved on the terms for his own Suburbans. Bottom line? Omar asked me if he could get me in his vehicle for x-dollars a month, would that work. I said yes, but I doubted he could do it. Well, he did. After an hour or so total on the phone with Omar, my wife and I drove past about five Chevy dealers to get to Ted Britt on a Saturday. Anticipating our arrival, and our virtual deal, Omar had the Suburban washed and gassed, and he handed us off to Spencer. Spencer was cut from the same cloth as Omar -- forthright and earnest, absolutely motivated to make the deal. There were zero hitches, zero surprises, and we closed the deal. We were at the showroom for two hours, barely, and we couldn't imagine a more pleasant and satisfying car-buying experience. We had the further pleasure of meeting briefly with Andy Britt and GM Jason, after having chatted briefly with each of them over the phone. Financial Manager Carey, like everyone at Ted Britt, was a perfect pro! These guys are the real deal. If you live in the National Capital Region and are interested in a Chevy, you gotta go to Ted Britt in Sterling, Virginia. Sterling, indeed -- they are absolutely top drawer! And seriously -- if you're interested in another make that Ted Britt offers, give serious consideration to working with Britt. We worked closely with Omar and Spencer, and they were absolutely fantastic. We dealt briefly with Andy, Jason, and Carey, and they seemed just as good. That's no accident, that's a commitment to excellence by Ted Britt. I know quality when I see it, and there's no doubt about it -- Ted Britt is a quality outfit. I've been buying cars for longer than any of these folks have been selling them, and I've never been more impressed. They cut right into their profit margin to make a deal with me. I blush to think what a good deal it was! More

I had a wonderful buying experience at Ted Britt Chevrolet. As I was located approx. 60 miles from the dealership, I communicated with them before I left to ensure the car I wanted was available. They also were able to tell me that they will match CarMax appraisals for my trade-in, which in addition to being incredible convenient, it also removed a lot of stress from the transaction because I knew what I was getting before going there. I was promptly greeted upon my arrival and everyone I met was extremely friendly. The salesman was knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to answer any questions I had. The actual purchasing process went smoothly. Yes, the dealership pushes their profit makers on you (vehicle protection packages, extended warranties, etc.) during the sale. However, their product pitches were informative and they readily accepted denial of these packages without becoming too pushy about it. After the sales paperwork was completed, the salesman took the time to show me all of the features of the car, set up personal devices, personalize vehicle setting, and answer any questions I had along the way. The salesman was also quick to handle any other issues that came up after I left the lot. This was definitely one of the easier car purchase transaction I've made. I would highly recommend Ted Britt Chevrolet. More

I recently purchased a new silverado chevy pick up. I live in northeast PA and have been searching for a good deal. The dealers in my area were not all to helpful in making a deal. "Hook", Jason and Carey made the purchase of my vehicle a pleasure and met all of my expectations. I would truly recommend any of my friends and relatives to purchase a vehicle from this dealership and would relay what a positive experience it was. When I am in the market for another new chevy, which I only purchase Chevy, I will be sure to return to Ted Britt chevrolet. More

Steve was great! Stayed later than scheduled to make the deal work and was very effective at processing the paperwork after a deal was made. All I have to say about the TeddBritt Chevy Dealership in Sterling is that they are a JOKE! Classic “Bait and Switch” tactic, based on an advertisement received in the mail, promising 125% of NADA trade-in Sterling is that they are a JOKE! Classic “Bait and Switch” tactic, based on an advertisement received in the mail, promising 125% of NADA trade-in value regardless of year, make, model or payoff, is what lured us in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. My wife kept telling me that this deal was too good to be true; however, I thought it might be a good chance to be introduced to the Chevy family. So, from Fredericksburg, we made the two hour hike to Sterling to claim this advertisement and purchase an Equinox. I had contacted the dealership a couple of times, through phone and email, to make sure that this deal was legit. I confirmed with them that based upon the NADA trade-in value, my vehicle was valued as a trade-in somewhere between $24,500 and $27,500 depending on condition. They said it was a reasonable trade-in amount without having inspecting the vehicle. Additionally, we had a guarantee offer from Carmax of $26,000, which further my confidence as to the trade-in value of the vehicle. Our car salesman, Mr. Mas Hill, was very pleasant to deal with. However, it wasn’t until the other man behind the desk relayed that the vehicle was worth $21,000, based on NADA, and that $26,000 included the additional 25% increase. Even though I had previously sent a link to the value of the vehicle from NADA, which they had concluded to be reasonable and with a guarantee offer from Carmax for $26,000, they are now singing a different tone of $21,000. I can assure you that the condition of the vehicle is good. The man behind the desk then increased the offer to $28,000 and proceeded to tell me that he was offering me quote “One heck of a deal” and that I should take it. “One heck of a deal” would be to honor your word (aka, advertisement), but I guess that is too much to ask. That’s a bunch of BS to the tenth degree. Thanks, Chevy, for wasting a beautiful Sunday with my family for your big crock of lies. I should send you an invoice for a tank of gas for having to sit on 95 for a bunch of nothing. As my wife would tell me, “Stay away from Sh__ty Chevy”. Lesson Learned! More
