We went to test drive a 2009 Jetta Sportswagon and were pleasantly surprised that we could leave the same day w/the car, so we did. Jason was fantastic. I was really nervous about buying a new car and also indecisive. I never felt pushed by him. He walked me through the steps and made it feel easy. I trusted him completely. When I sent out information to 3 different VW dealers in the Boston area, Jason was the first to respond. He immediately found the car I had requested, a 2011 Golf 4 door. Over the phone and with emails, we were able to quickly set up the purchase. In less than a week, I was able to go to the dealership and buy the car. Through out the entire process, I was impressed with his very positive and enthusiastic attitude. He made me feel that I could rely on him to get me the best price and the extras I wanted. He was friendly, sincere, professional and clearly dedicated to doing his best to make sure that I got everything I needed. He explained every step of the process, and made me feel comfortable and confident. I was also very impressed by Anna, who went through the numbers with me, and also made sure that I understood what was involved every step of the way. The people I met at Colonial were friendly and welcoming. I never felt for a moment that I was a mere customer. but that I had made some new friends. My past experience with car dealers has made me a bit wary, but I feel that I can trust these fine folks to continue to treat me in both a professional as well as personal manner, as I return to them for maintenance and service. This was my first new car purchase and my first car purchase on my own- everyone (even those not directly involved!) was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made the experience a lot less intimidatin purchase on my own- everyone (even those not directly involved!) was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made the experience a lot less intimidating. I emailed back and forth with Jason for a few weeks prior to coming in and I was really impressed with how quickly he responded, his honesty and how willing he was to talk me through the whole process. When I got to the dealership Bill was very welcoming and walked me through the whole process, making sure I understood everything. He worked with me to get a good deal and he thoroughly described the financing so I could make an educated decision. Anna was also fantastic as she explained the whole financing process and my options- I really appreciate all the time and energy she put into helping me understand my options!! When I first told my parents I wanted to buy a new car my dad told me to choose a dealership that felt right in my gut- this dealership stuck out from the first day I emailed and I am thrilled with my choice. More

Asked for leasing quotes on a VW Tiguan via Edmunds.com. Two of three dealers responded via email, the third wanted me to come in before a quote. Jason at Commonwealth was ready to accommodate my monthly fee target and paying off my last lease payment on the previous car to get the deal by June 30. Billy showed the car alternatives, explained the features, and made sure he knew what the Internet / eMail deal was before getting the final deal done. Car was delivered on time, and we are on our way with new wheels for another 3 years! Note: Dealers who do not adapt to the new Internet quoting world will never get my business. More

The internet salesman was fantastic, picked us up and brought us to the dealership. The salesman (Matt) was great, funny and down to earth, honest and very caring about what the customer wants. Jason gave the best quote of all local dealerships, which got us in the door. Greg took care of answering ALL our car related questions, went along with us on a looong test drive, and even showed us some lo got us in the door. My experience at Colonial was amazing, they made it so easy for me to get my new car. There was no pushy sales tactics and everyone was incredibly laid back and friendly. Jason was by far the most prompt in responding to my "Quick Quote" request. He was also the clearest in answering my questions and understanding my needs about the kind of car I wanted. This no-pressure approach is an important part of why I would highly recommend this dealership to friends and coworkers. Internet Manager (Jason Giacoppo) followed up on my request for information, and promptly notified me when a car meeting my criteria became available. Salesperson (Bill Burns) was very knowledgeable about Volkswagens, and gave me a detailed and informed overview of the car and its capabilities when I picked it up. He followed up a few days later to know how I was enjoying the vehicle. More
