I found a vehicle online that I was interested in and filled out the online appointment request. Within 30 minutes or so I was contacted by Jason Pelmear and an appointment was set. Jason was excellent, he took his time, answered all my questions and never pressured me for the sale. I was short on time that day and told Jason I would be back in a day or two to look at my trade-in. Once again, no pressure to "Get it done now". A day or two later I took my trade in to be appraised. The apprasial was fair and we went ahead with the deal. We first went to Northside Ford when the revamped Fusion came out. We in the end decided to wait. A few months later we decided to purchase a Ford Flex and the experience wasn't like so many other car dealerships. We didn't get swarmed by the entire sales staff as soon as we got out of our car. We instead were approached by one person who asked if they could help us. He led us inside so we could meet with Jason. We decided on a Ford Flex and Northside Ford bent over backwards to get us the one we wanted. They offered to order one specific to our liking if there were other options available in their inventory. In the end we purchased one on the lot. Once that was done, the paperwork to finish up the purchase was thorough but fast and not an all day affair. This is the first domestic vehicle I have ever purchased and I'm quite happy with it. Northside Ford has gained a repeat customer. More

Our experience in dealing with Northside Ford (NSF) to buy a new F-150 Platinum could not have been better. Historically, it takes us a great deal of time to decide upon the right vehicle at the right place from the right person and dealership. NSF's representative, Jason Pelmear, could not have been a better fit for us as he was most patient, answered all our questions without blowing smoke, and waited for us to reach our decision. In the end, we felt very comfortable with Jason, knowing he would do what we wanted and what was in our interest as far as the buying process went. If it had not been for Jason, we probably would not have purchased our new truck from NSF - Jason is a superb representative and easy to deal with. We highly recommend him to anyone wishing to buy a new Ford. Oh, btw, the new Platinum we have is absolutely indescribable; it drives like a dream and has all the bells and whistles. Ford truly has an outstanding product in this truck. More

I'm a 53 year old man that has bought 17 vehicles in my life. The 2010 Toyota truck I bought from Northside Ford was my last purchase and by far the worst car buying experience I had ever encountered. my life. It's been six months since the ordeal and a week don't go by that I don't get sick over the whole incident. The only good thing is that through it all I like my truck, which is important. Mr. Pelmear called several times and sent several letters to me prior to the day in question. On the day, I walked in at the appointment time and there was no Pelmear. Matter of fact he double booked the time, and I waited 0.5 Hour with a very rude receptionist until he appeared and handed me off to some guy who knew nothing about me and the communications already established. The next 5 hours was misery, I wanted the truck, but was insulted with every smarmy low down used car man trick in the book. He actually changed numbers on the computer after we agreed on the prices, THEN blamed it on a typo and laughed. A 2000 dollar typo!! They refused to tell me my interest rate, only what my monthly payment would be. I asked many times and could not get a straight answer. We agreed on new tires and agreed on the same brand, but they tried to put the cheapest most unsafe tire on my truck! This is just a few of the many dirty tricks that the whole staff had up their sleeves. The truth is, I walked out twice but in the end I was worn down by the whole ordeal. In the end, I enjoy my truck, but am very keen to steer all and any away from NORTHSIDE FORD!! I work at a large employer in the San Antonio area (over 3000 people), and not to be mean, but get great solace from turning people away from NORTHSIDE FORD. I tell them to go to Red Mccombs instead. I believe I've been successful several or more times. HORRIBLE!!!! More

I have bought 2 vehicles from Northside Ford in the last 2 years. Both Dino and Jason were excellent during the process about features and price. Purchased car under Z plan, so no haggling. Salesman discussed the car's features at length, even after we had signed our life away, as we spent another hour in the car going over numerous items. He guessed that not much was working its way into my noggin and told me to come back with questions at any time. Only glitch in whole sales proceedure was when we were with the Finance person. We had already spent 3 hours at the dealership and both of us were not up to par by this time. We were just told where to sign each document with limited explanation of each. We ended up going back the next morning to alter the contract as we did not want an extended warranty, which had somehow made it into the vehicle's final price. Two other charges we accepted once told what they were. One was Etching charge which we found out was a dealer charge for something already accomplished on all their products. The other was a GAP charge; insurance to cover the difference, in case of Total or Theft, between car's value and owner's insurance company's payoff. Other than that, it was a good deal all around. This is the fourth vehicle I have bought from Northside, course having a brother who worked for Ford Motor Co has allowed me to do so without the haggling usually associated in car-buying. More
