Lack of Communication/Follow up/ Went in to look at a vehicle with my wife and daughter. Wife left as the little one was sick and becoming restless at the dealer. Test drove the vehic Went in to look at a vehicle with my wife and daughter. Wife left as the little one was sick and becoming restless at the dealer. Test drove the vehicle negotiated a price and even went through financing with them. During financing, one of their "preferred banks" was closed so I was promised a call in the morning to let me know what their rates came back as, to see if it would lower the monthly payment. Either way, I needed to talk final numbers over with the wife but told them that I was interested in the vehicle and would like to move forward so to please call as soon as you get information so we can work this out final numbers and sign what we needed to sign. Next day I called twice to only to reach his voice mail. I get a text at 4:45 PM asking if I was still interested in the vehicle as he had to pass the key to another associate. I asked him to call me and told him we had a few additional questions about the history of the vehicle but yes I was still interested as we discussed in great detail the day before and I was waiting on his call from the other bank so we could move forward. He apologized and said he hopes the car wont sell as he would feel bad but I didnt understand why I couldn't just buy the car then and why he is just now calling me, and why is someone else even with the car when I told them I was interested we were just waiting for the bank rate to come through. I assume when the key is passed, that customer gets priority on that buying decision. I then get a message from his manager that the sales associate had left for the day (10 minutes later...?!) and the car is with another customer and I would be notified on what happens. Why didnt the sales associate communicate to me he was leaving? Even a soft transfer (hey I am leaving for the day but my manager will be able to assist you on your purchase) would have been courteous. Long story short the vehicle sold with that customer and I was left empty promises and lack of promised follow up. What is most disappointing about this dealer is that I had a car sell from under me before from another dealer as I was on the way to sign the papers that I was told the car would be held for me until I got there (another lie). Explaining this to them in the beginning, they promised this is not something that would happen or that I have to worry about doing business with them. Mercedes Benz of Owings Mills values their customer service and because of their commitment in that, reason they are rated the highest in that customer service for our area. I then felt at ease but as it turned out they dropped the ball. I missed out the vehicle due to lack of follow up and "passing of keys" of which I would have purchased. Before passing he should have called me as I was right up the street but only did after he passed the car which put me "in line" for purchasing based on the current customers decision. In addition, I had my credit score impacted which could potentially sway interest rates in a negative favor as I continue my search in a vehicle. Very disappointed in the way this was handled and expected more from a "leader in customer service". As a follow up I reached out to the Manager to ensure I was not off and/or missed anything in my experience and he admitted that they dropped the ball and that I would get a call the next day on inventory and they would make sure to make this up for me. After hanging up with him, 4 days later.... still no response. More

Accommodating! Best Customer Service I give Reza and the team at the dealership a 5-star rating for accommodating my needs. I did not arrive at the dealership until 8pm due to my work sch I give Reza and the team at the dealership a 5-star rating for accommodating my needs. I did not arrive at the dealership until 8pm due to my work schedule, traffic and heavy rains. However, they stayed opened and waited patiently while I test drove, traded my car, called insurance and subsequently closed on the vehicle. I did not leave the dealership until 10:30pm. Fantastic service!!! More
