They eventually attempted to repair the oil leak and now it is leaking again. They stated a certified master technician inspected the car before we purchased it. We were also told we would get free oil changes and then a charge was placed on the loan documents. When we brought the concerns to Mr. Huvaere, he stated if we have a habit of signing things we don't read. So, please, please, please, read EVERYTHING before signing documents at this dealership. I would NOT feel safe buying a vehicle from this dealership. The dealership also changed the floor mats from when we test drove the car. More

I've used this dealer in the past for company/personal auto service and when looking for cars in the past and has always been great. Al and Nick were absolutely great right off the rip. My son and I came auto service and when looking for cars in the past and has always been great. Al and Nick were absolutely great right off the rip. My son and I came in on a Thursday evening and looked at an Explorer that was exactly what we had been looking for. Al showed us what we had seen online and luckily was still available. Little bummed that the gas tank was barely filled and only had 5 miles left to the tank, so the test drive was short, but I drive a 14 Explorer, and we have test driven a few others already and the ride was exactly what we expected it to feel like. Told Al about a nightmare we had at another dealership the week prior, and he was stunned they did what they did to us. Al was super chill, straight forward and above all was patient as we had already been working with Genisys directly for financing. He said he'd have the vehicle ready in a few days since it had to be inspected still, and some recalls to be repaired while we wrap up things up at our local branch. Saturday came and everything was secured and in place. Al was a little busy with another customer when we arrived but no big deal, we are patient folks and the man is great. Nick jumped right in and began going over all the paperwork with us, helping transfer a plate and all that jazz. Super friendly guy had a few laughs, small talk and pleasant to work with. Smooth, quick and painless besides all that money spent lol. Vehicle was clean and I was also glad to see that the vehicle was at least filled up to half a tank as well and not leave us in the dust so that was a plus and put our transfer plate on instead of us doing like other places have in the past. Thanks Al and Nick! Appreciate you guys both. My only actual complaint is more towards inspection/ service of vehicle and that would be is that we are now 3 days into our purchase and the engine light started flashing, not long enough to read a code. Engine shutters when accelerating around 40ish mph, from my son's description sounds like a misfire/need plugs and packs. My son called Al and he was kind enough to confirm what maintenance was done, fluids, oil etc. prior to us leaving with the vehicle but confirmed plugs and packs were not done. Al unfortunately couldn't help which I understand used cars are never 100% perfect and they are sold As Is but this is high mileage vehicle with a Carfax/ record that does not show that it has ever been completed so I was kind of surprised by that. I understand too that not all maintenance is visible to the dealership or Carfax. but I question if it has it ever been completed by the factory Maintenace schedule? Maybe it was overlooked by accident? or maybe it's not part of routine certain mileage maintenance? I'm not sure but I just spent about 10k and now have to spend more to possibly replace those, if and I say if because no code has been thrown yet, that that is the actual problem and not something more significant. Little frustrating and except for that 1 thing the overall experience with the dealership and with Al and Nick was great and I'm certain I'll still use this place. Dealership service should possibly re-evaluate inspections and service of a car for sale, especially with what could actually be shown and seen as possible an incomplete or never done service/maintenance record between 105k miles and the current 144k miles. Overall we still love our purchase but now we are chasing a problem that we are unsure of what it may be. More

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership on August 12th 2023. I also purchased an extended warranty with the vehicle. after some consideration, I opted to cancel the extended warranty. I initiated and 12th 2023. I also purchased an extended warranty with the vehicle. after some consideration, I opted to cancel the extended warranty. I initiated and completed the cancellation via the dealership on August 24th 2023. I was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks to process the refund for the warranty. It is now November 14th 2023 and the refund still has not shown up in my account. I have been in contact with the Finance Manager I worked with for the sale since the original 8 week deadline was up. I have been assured they are doing all they can to make it right but that does not change the fact that I have not received my refund after nearly 3 months has gone by since asking for it. If you are buying a vehicle from these people, I would highly recommend that you DO NOT finance through them. I will not go as far as saying they are "crooks" but separating you from your money is definitely their top priority. More

I recently bought a 2016 F150 from Suburban Ford of Waterford. I love the truck. I am not so happy with the sales staff. I worked with Pam to negotiate a price of $14,800 + fees. I then was working wit Waterford. I love the truck. I am not so happy with the sales staff. I worked with Pam to negotiate a price of $14,800 + fees. I then was working with Ryan on the purchase. I contaccted Ryan and he said everything is set up and ready, just come pick up the truck. I drove 4 hours to purchase the truck. When I signed the paperwork (through the tablet) Michael the finance guy went through the paperwork so fast, I barely had time to look at it. Although he did have time to show me all of the extended warrenty oprions. As it turns out, there must be a method to that type of sales because when i got home, my sales price on a $14,800 +fees was over $18,000. I did contact Ryan and he forwarded me to Michael who did not return my contact, so I contacted Zach the sales manager and again no contact. So my advice is to make sure you read all of the fiqures and get the deal you were promised. I realize I should have paid more attention but i thought they were trustworthy, again, I do love the truck but I will not be visiting Suburban Ford of Waterford again. I have talked with the general manager and he is looking into my situation. More
