We recently picked up our 2022 Honda Passport from Curtis Ryan Honda. This is our 2nd lease through Curtis Ryan with Jim Cossette,as our Honda representative both times. I was looking for a new Honda CRV to replace my curret older CRV. My family and I have bought many cars ay Curtis Ryan over the years and the process was stress free and congenial. I made an appointment to meet with Jim Cossette, a sales person I had done business with in the past. Prior to going to Curtiss Ryan I looked at their current available inventory and pricing. I had a car in mind to look at and purchase the same day. I called Jim and told him the vehicle I was interested in. He told me it was available and that I needed to give him a deposit to hold the vehicle until I could get there, which was the same day. I gave him a credit card number for a $100 deposit and later went to look at the vehicle that same day. My Daughter nad Son-in-law accomanied me. When I arrived, I asked for Jim and he was paged to the main entrance. I told him I wanted to see the car and test drive it. He pulled it up on line to be sure it was the right vehicle. However, the price of the vehicle on the website was over $3000.00 more than the price i was on line. When I questioned Jim about the price he became irate and quite obnoxious. I was appalled and enbarrassed by his response. My Daugthter & her husband were just as appalled. I told him I was not interested in buying the vehicle and I requested my my deposit back. His tersely replied that he would credit my bank the next day. As of this morning, the credit has yet to appear in my account. If it does not appear in an appropriate time frame, I will not be calling the dealership, I will call the Better Business Bureau as well as Honda Corporate. Suffice to say, I will not be conducting business with Curtis Ryan ever again. More
