Once we got to the dealership we were treated wonderfully. We were very well taken care of and informed through the whole process. Delivery coordinator Alejandro was great to work with and Jim in finance made it a great experience and took very good care of us, all employees went above and beyond. We will definitely go here first when we are in the market for another vehicle and I will recommend them to everyone. Easy Sale for a Great Dealership After a horrible experience dealing with Advantage Chevrolet of Hodgkins (read my review), Jeff Shadrick at Jeff Belzer's Chevrolet got a call from me After a horrible experience dealing with Advantage Chevrolet of Hodgkins (read my review), Jeff Shadrick at Jeff Belzer's Chevrolet got a call from me inquiring about 2 2016 Chevrolet Colorados listed on Cars.com and Autotrader.com. I live in Kansas, but am so picky about my vehicles that I'm willing to fly out of state and drive them back for the best deal. Jeff was so polite and even let me vent about my horrible experience. He didn't get aggravated after being asked 3+ times if they would honor their internet price. I'm sure I wasn't the most polite or calm customer during that first phone call. He was great and confirmed they had the Colorados and I took a break to decide if I wanted to complete a deal I was already approved for with another dealership. When I called Jeff back, he took the time to drive to the Lakeville lot (as he was actually based in the New Prague dealership) on Halloween night, taking time from his family and Trick-or-Treating with his grandchildren. He sent pictures of the actual vehicle (on the showroom floor) and we finalized the deal without the details. Over the course of a couple of days, Jeff requested the information he needed from me and got me in contact with Jim McMahon, a finance manager at the Lakeville dealership. I was approved for the best finance rate Bank of America offered on a 72-month loan AND the best rate in Kansas. Jim assured me he could get a better rate and lessen the load of dealing with the Bank of America loan since Jeff Belzer's was not a preferred dealership with BoA. A day later, Jim came back with a 0.25% less rate than my best rate. It was even less than any advertised lowest rate on the internet for a 72-month loan. And, I'm sure you're telling yourself the old 'pay a little more for better finance rates' tactic dealerships use, but, let me assure you, the advertised internet price we agreed on was never adjusted. They even took the effort to offer to pay for my plane ticket! Jeff Shadrick picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealership. My truck was parked right in front of the entrance so I could drool as we parked right beside it. He introduced me to representatives of the different departments and we coordinated to finish the entirety of the deal so I could begin my 600+ mile drive back home. Everyone was great and there was very little pressure for add-on sales like our Kansas dealerships do. I was amazed at the attention to detail to clean the truck completely (even though it was dusty and dirty after the drive through northern Nebraska to get it home) and how the new features were explained to me. I showed back up in Kansas with a truck I'm proud of and I know I got a great deal from one of the best dealerships in the United States (they are the number one Chevrolet dealership in Minnesota for a reason, after all). If you want a new Chevrolet, do not be afraid to check Jeff Belzer's out and buy that plane ticket. I saved thousands over what I would've paid locally. Even after getting a rock-bottom price on a great truck, they still gave me a FULL tank of diesel!! I cannot thank these guys enough. More
