Jim O'Connell has been with Courtesy Acura since 2011. He relocated to Colorado from New Jersey 11 years ago and is loving selling Acuras. Jim loves Acura because he believes their longevity and price point is the best compared to other luxury vehicles. Jim enjoys tournament bass fishing,not catching but fishing, having barbecues with friends, and spending time with his wife and daughter. Big fan of Jason Owen!!

Since purchasing my 2013 MDX a few months back, I have had nothing but great experiences with Courtesy Acura. I have always loathed shopping for cars and my experience here was a true turning point. From the moment you walk in the door everything is first class and you feel that they are there to help you. My sales person, James (Jim) O'Connell was wonderful and walked us through the most pleasant car buying experience of my life. AND they got us out of there in under our 1.5 hour request! I just had my vehicle serviced for the first time and that was a great experience as well. Michelle was professional and efficient while helping me with scheduling and service information. You also can't beat driving off in a spotless car with a chilled bottle of water and some Ghirardelli chocolates waiting for you. I tell all my friends to go to Courtesy Acura, the vehicles are second to none, as is the service. More

I had a wonderful experience buying my Acura this afternoon at Courtesy Acura. Jimmy O'Connell did a fabulous job making the experience very good. Courtesy Acura is a premiere, prestigious, wonderful, and customer-centric dealership. Jim O’Connell is an excellent, kind, and understanding sales associate. From when we met to when we purchased, he was un customer-centric dealership. Jim O’Connell is an excellent, kind, and understanding sales associate. From when we met to when we purchased, he was understanding, helpful, and gave his personal opinion where it mattered. Multiple conversations took place via email and in person, and each was fulfilling and helpful. Within the conversations, information was exchanged about pre-inspection checks, maintenance records, work hours, and locations of contact. All of which ensured an easy and simple buying process. When the time came to finalize the deal, a phone call or two were made in agreement on numbers. When we arrived, we were greeted by Jim, offered a seat, and starting signing the papers. One of the only two unsatisfying items was the wait to be transferred to financial. The wait was not overly long, but, it did take a while, even though we had already agreed on numbers. But, in that period of time, Jim made sure that we were well taken care of, comfortable, and entertained. The ease and friendliness of talking with Jim made the whole process that much easier and less stressful. When were transferred to financial, we worked with Will Douglas, who introduced himself earlier. He was friendly and very informative, and made sure he went through his many sales pitches. The second unsatisfying item was that the dealership refused to take a paid-in-full check made payable to the customer, and endorsed as to “pay to the order of” the dealership. Other than that, the process was easy, somewhat quick, and simple. After agreement on how the dealership will acquire the money, we went on our way. Overall, the experience was very pleasant and easy. Jim O’Connell was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better salesperson. Another disappointment is that when we first contacted the dealership via an online form, an Internet Sales Consultant received my message. In that message, I specified that I preferred to be contacted by email, and yet I received a call early in the morning. He did very little to assist us, where we went to the dealership, and that is where we met Jim. Since Jim made up for John’s shortcomings, I will say, for what it’s worth, I thought Jim O'Connell deserved all and more from this sale. We were extremely satisfied. When the time arises, we may conduct our business with this dealership again, and we would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone. More

He was a very personable, trustworthy, low-pressure sales person who helped us find the perfect MDX. Before we met Lou Taylor, he impressed us by checking up on our kids and chatting with them. Zsaree Dunbar helped us with the financial paperwork and made the process so clear, pleasant, and seamless. Finally, Lou gave us a thorough explanation of our vehicle that made it even clearer that we had purchased the right vehicle from the right place. All in all, I can't recommend this dealership enough. The team is absolutely fantastic. More

Our experience at Courtesy Acura was great! From the minute we walked on the floor the staff was attentive, courteous, and very professional. After a bad experience at Flatirons Acura trying to purchase a new 2012 MDX, I tried Courtesy Acura for a certified pre-owned 2012 MDX. The experience was night and day. If you are looking for sleazy car salesmen who will insult you and don't seem to care whether they earn your business or not, then go to Flatirons.
