Born and raised in St. Louis, a Mehlville H.S. graduate. I have a daughter and a step-daughter, and I'm a fan of all St. Louis sports and English Premier League soccer, particularly Tottenham Hotspur. Like any true Cardinals fan I also enjoy giving my wife grief for being a Cubs fan. Outside of work you can find me spending time with my family, remodeling our house, or playing golf. My favorite thing to do is to help people get into the vehicle they want or the vehicle that will fit all of their needs! From the time I called him on the phone, to test driving, to negotiating the deal, then closing the purchase, Jim was always straightforward and fair with me. There were never any hassles or problems with my purchase of the 2016 pre-owned F-250 diesel truck. I've had it for 4 months now, and everything is still great. Definitely not like the salesman we had been used to dealing with. He made the car buying process painless, and got me into the car I love!! Every time I called or left a message, he was prompt with his response! Treff Laplant helped us with financing! He was knowledgeable, informative, and efficient. We didn't have to sit there forever waiting, as we had at other dealerships in the past. I was already approved through my bank, and he got us a much lower rate. My loan process was simple, and Treff was able to answer all of our questions. He was extremely organized, and personalized our car buying experience. More

Very easy to deal with, great deal & fast! We were looking for new Explorers online for about a month. We have 2 toddlers so it wasn't always easy to physically look and test drive with them. W We were looking for new Explorers online for about a month. We have 2 toddlers so it wasn't always easy to physically look and test drive with them. When we went to Sunset Ford we saw the Explorer that we want to test drive. My wife and I each took turns test driving it while one stayed behind with the kids in the waiting area. When we decided that we wanted it Jim Wagstaff was very helpful They gave us a great deal on trade in and Jim talked to us about the lifetime warranty. After that is was a no brainier. We bought the "wrap around" bumper to bumper warranty to match the lifetime power train warranty. This was all done with 2 kids in tow. Again very easy transaction and felt very comfortable. Excellent Experience I had driven my previous car for 12 years and due to its age I needed to get a new car quickly. I sent in an information request for an Explorer that I had driven my previous car for 12 years and due to its age I needed to get a new car quickly. I sent in an information request for an Explorer that ended up being unavailable, but Jim Wagstaff helped me find an alternative vehicle that I am enjoying more than the initial vehicle that drew my interest. If I need a new car or know of anyone else who needs one I will recommend Jim as the guy to see! I ended up financing the vehicle and was in and out of the financing portion under an hour. Treff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the various rates in the area and got me a great rate! More
