The best sales people we have ever encountered at a car dealership. It was a non-pressure, laid-back, no nonsense and pleasant sales environment. Our sales person Joe Bonavita was awesome. He made it all a joyful experience for my wife and I. When we picked the car up Joe went over every manual and service that came with the car. In addition, Joe had in depth knowledge of the car we bought. Joe took me out to the car and explained to me the workings of every leaver, nob and button in the car. Joe also set up the Bluetooth for me and if I need additional assistance with any of the controls to give him a call and he will be there for us. In addition to their awesome sales people, I also liked Wantagh Mazda's website. Their website showed all of the cars that are in stock. You can look up the car you're interested in buying and all of the information from the car's sticker is listed there: Price, VIN Number, Stock Number and all equipment included. I have not seen any other car dealer with an honest upfront website like this. I highly recommend Wantagh Mazda. More

Most of the initial negotiation was done by phone as the initial inquiry was over the internet. Very fair price without any hidden fees or 'bump' from the boss. The car price and trade-in were separate transactions, so no nonsense there. After the sale he took me all through the car, every control, switch, and gadget. I was not rushed out the door. More

Recently leased my first Mazda from Wantagh Mazda, and I expect it to be the first of many - as others have stated, was unlike any previous dealership experience - they treat you like a real person! Joe B. was great from the start - friendly, patient, knowledgeable and HONEST - never felt rushed, pressured or under the gun to make a quick decision - Joe went out of his way to accommodate my schedule and my budget - worked with just him through the entire process - also unlike previous experiences - when bad weather forced a last minute change in pick-up day, Joe was courteous and professional about it, and it worked out fine for everyone - turned in my old lease and switched the plates right over to the new one - stayed with me on a cold night to go over all features and even link up my cell phone - highly recommend Joe Bonavita and Wantagh Mazda - came all the way from Brooklyn, well worth the trip! More

It was a very easy process.....Not sure why getting a car should be so stressful or difficult. I worked with this dealership in the past and back then it was great!!! Why go anywhere else? Unfortunately, I did and was very disappointed with the dealership in Garden city as I was back in the past when I went in there. I thought I would give them another try.....No change. Came to this dealership after searching on the internet for a local Mazda dealership and email contact with Joe. Had a terrible experience with Millenium Mazda in Garden City the Saturday prior in attempti for a local Mazda dealership and email contact with Joe. Had a terrible experience with Millenium Mazda in Garden City the Saturday prior in attempting to purchase a CX-5 and wanted to find a straight forward dealer with no gimmicks or empty promises. Went in today to see Joe at 12:30 PM, and had the deal done with in less then an hour no hassles, picked up the car we wanted by 4:30 PM same day and I am extremely satisfied. It was a true pleasure working with Joe and would highly recommend him and this dealership if you want a Mazada. Price and service was a surprisingly pleasant experience. More

I never imagined that my first "looking for a new car" experience would be so friendly and painless. Wantagh Mazda provided the exact opposite of what many people view as a "typical" car dealership e car" experience would be so friendly and painless. Wantagh Mazda provided the exact opposite of what many people view as a "typical" car dealership experience The need for a new vehicle came quite abruptly for me, and the search for a new car was not something I was looking forward to. I spent the first day of looking at a Mitsubishi and Toyota dealership, both of which made me feel uncomfortable, not to mention the 4 phone calls a day. Mom has had a CX-7 for two years now and could not be happier. The CX-5 was my favorite car on the road, but felt out of my budget. I came to Mazda out of sheer curiosity, knowing the CX-5 was most likely outside of my budget. Immediately after walking in, I felt like part of their family. One of Victor’s associate made us a fresh pot of coffee to start while a trade-in assessment was being made. Victor and my mother caught up for a bit and we got to know each other. After a test drive I knew I wanted the car, but was concerned about the price and what I could afford. After conveying that I truly only wanted a basic model with AWD, I was shocked at the deal they offered me, truly lower than I expected. Joe the manager and Victor listened to all my concerns and we eventually came to an agreement. I was able to get the roof racks and cross bars for my bike rack and they even included the Bluetooth audio package which is incredible. I signed the lease on the spot that evening, knowing this was the right choice. Signing the lease was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Knowing I was soon to be driving my favorite car on the road, at a price tag I could afford was something I could have never expected a few days prior. Picking up the vehicle was surreal. Victor took my back into the service department to see the car and meet the maintenance crew. Gary was quite friendly and welcoming, and after meeting him, I knew my car would be in good hands in the future. I never expected the car to look as awesome as it did. The color is spectacular, with the roof rails adding a great sporty flavor. Driving off the lot for the first time gave me a great sense of accomplishment and success, knowing I have worked hard over the past few years to reach the point where I was able to afford this myself. Victor, Joe and the whole team were absolutely incredible. I know that anytime I am there, I will be treated like family, and that makes all the difference where car dealerships are a dime a dozen. I have already recommended the Wantagh Mazda dealership to all of my friends, knowing they will all have a great experience and get a great deal! More
