Joe graduated from Eckerd College in St Petersburg, FL with a bachelor's degree in business management. Joe made 51 appearances on the mound during his four-year career as a relief pitcher for the Eckerd College Triton baseball team. In his senior year he was honored with The Triton Award recognizing his outstanding athletic and academic accomplishments. Joe has spent his entire automotive career working with the Tasca family, a group whose commitment to customer service aligns perfectly with his own values. He is incredibly thankful to work alongside such a dedicated team committed to customer satisfaction. Born and raised in Foxboro, MA. Joe is a huge New England sports fan.

I once purchased a preowned GMC Acadia Denali, which I sold after buying a Cadillac from an estate. I recently decided to check out a newer vehicle, and after getting quotes on at Dimmit on Cadillacs, a sold after buying a Cadillac from an estate. I recently decided to check out a newer vehicle, and after getting quotes on at Dimmit on Cadillacs, and finding them a little pricy, I decided to visit TASCA to look at their GMC Terrain Denalis. My son was with me, and we were warmly greeted by the receptionist Pinky, when we walked in the dealership. Deja Caulk was the first sales person we dealt with, and after I told her what I wanted, she let me test drive a Denali Terrain. After the test drive, we met Joe Clagg, who searched for the colors I wanted. We were introduced to Dan, who helped me with my late husband’s family GMC discount, worked tirelessly to contact General Motors about the Family First Program. Dan was very perceptive when he caught the tone of my voice while showing me photos of the vehicle they found in Melbourne, which was trimmed out in black. He hinted to Joe, that I didn’t like the black, and they found one in Crystal River that was exactly what I wanted. I like all white, with chrome grill, and light interior. Roger, said he would work harder to get me the best deal, when I told him this was my first new car. He worked on my financing, to get me the best interest rate and discounts. Deja called me when the auto arrived, and I came in to see it. WOW, is all I can say! I traded in my 2029 XTS, in the deal, added a $5000 down payment, and with all the discounts TASCA got for me, I was able to finance my new $46,784 vehicle for $27000. Joe found me a beautiful all white, with chrome trim, and pale grey interior GMC Denali Terrain, which I absolutely LOVE. Johnny explained all my options to me, and finished the paperwork on the sale. After the papers were signed, and I was to take possession of the new GMC, Wes sat in the passenger seat and ran through the details I needed to know about the technology. This was very helpful to me, as I am not tech savvy about the new computerized autos. The next day, I returned with more questions for Deja. After answering my list of questions, I mentioned how upset I was about the cost of insurance. We went back in her office, and she pulled up a list of insurance options on her computer. State Farm was charging me over $300 a month for my vehicle. I have been with them, and paying these high premiums for four years. Deja found Polly Insurance in Orlando, who offers the same coverage I was getting from State Farm, but through Progressive for $119 a month. She helped me change to Progressive, and printed out what I needed before I left her office. In my opinion the entire sales department works together as a team to provide the best service , the best deal, and lowest interest rate to the customer. I am very impressed with this dealership. After looking for several months for a new to me slightly used car. I had thoroughly researched a car that Tasca had on their lot, but was not sure the vehicle had the maintenance history to make me comfort used car. I called the dealership and was shocked that the general manager, Joe Clagg , answered the phone. Joe spent some time discussing the history of the vehicle and seemed to be very dedicated to deliver a top notch experience. I agreed to take make a 100 mile drive to take a look at the vehicle the next day. Upon arriving at the dealership the vehicle was out front and Joe came out of his office to greet me and chat some more about the vehicle. I told him that I had owned 5 of this particular make and model vehicle, and I would not be an easy sale. I was actually trading this same make and model if we could strike a deal. When we were finished chatting he introduced me to sales associate Courtney Watkins. I told Courtney to be prepared for a long day as I had quite a list of concerns and after inspecting and driving the car I might have some additional requests for info. Courtney had the patience of a saint, I asked her for all of the service records for the vehicle since it was originally purchased through Tasca. Courtney was able to provide me with those records and Joe was able to provide additional info that he was able to gather to clarify what Courtney gathered. Once I was satisfied with the vehicles history and was pleased with my test drive what I expected to be a tough price negotiation went very smoothly. Joe and I were able to agree on a price that I thought was fair for both of us, without a whole lot of back and forth, which was very refreshing. I have bought and sold many vehicles and must say this was one of the best, if not THE BEST, experience I have ever had with what I like to call a “stealership”. I recommend these folks 100%, do not hesitate to do business at Tasca Buick GMC Clearwater. More
