Unexpected Surprise without Compromise My wife and I visited our local Acura Dealer (Esserman International) looking for a luxury SUV with 3 rows. Our intention was to buy a Certified Pre-O My wife and I visited our local Acura Dealer (Esserman International) looking for a luxury SUV with 3 rows. Our intention was to buy a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle as it seemed practical for our family. After a test drive, my wife fell in love with a pristine CPO 2019 Acura MDX with the Technology package (11K miles) in a white/expresso color scheme. After hours of haggling, we left the dealer upset as they would not budge on the list price. We finally decided to look for a CPO Acura MDX at another dealer. We visited Acura of Pembroke Pines and asked about their inventory of CPO Acura MDX with the Technology package. After reviewing one with visible wear and tear, Joe Urteaga pitched us the idea of purchasing a new 2020 model. I was skeptical as I didn't think the price of a new car would come close to that of a used one with the same specs. After a brief talk with his manager, Scott Ticker, Joe presented an offer that was better than the CPO 2019 Acura MDX model we saw at our local Acura dealer. It was an unexpected surprise that left me in awe. I am happy to say that my wife is now driving a brand new 2020 Acura MDX with the Technology package in a white/expresso color scheme without having to compromise for practicality. More
