permission when I decided to buy the vehicle. (I intended to use USAA). When I complained I was told they would cancel that loan and "let" me use USAA. But I had just received a Hard-hit inquiry on my credit by them without my consent and did not wish a second hit as I have perfect credit and did not want two hard inquiries in the same day. Subaru "claimed" they had a $500.00 military discount (I am a disabled Army vet with over 20 years active duty) When I asked about the Military Discount I was told it was worked into the price and that they had paid it their selves because it was "too much paperwork" The window sticker and bill of sale that I have show's NO $500.00 Military discount or any discount for that matter anywhere. I was given several different delivery times for my vehicle as I bought it unseen, they had to bring it in from a different dealership. I finally expressed my frustration and unhappiness with the seals manager, all he was worried about was how I was going to rate the dealership between him and the salesman I must have been asked 20 times to give them a 5-star rating and not to say anything negative about them. The finance manage was EXTREMELY condescending! and patronizing to the point I almost left, during the high, very high-pressure effort to sell me an extended warranty (almost implying the factory warranty was not good) I did purchase the New gold Plus extended warranty and the service contracts for $3520.00 and $699.00, respectively, I was led to believe this was the Subaru extended service agreement on the window stickers that extended the warranty out to 10 years 100,000 miles, when I received and examined the paperwork after I was home I discovered it was only for 96 months 80,000 miles not what I was lead to believe (when I was signing paperwork the finance rep was in such a hurry with the digital forms I could not read them only told to sign, here, here, here, I asked to see a hard copy I was told he would have to print it all out and I could go out in the show room and read it but he did not have time to do that in his office. (so, I was taken advantage of again, first with the financing, 2nd with the Military discount. 3rd with the extended warranty). The sales manage called me at home when I expressed my displease with all the above again only worried about what rating I would give him. He told me he would just tear up the whole thing if I wanted (when my vehicle was on its way to my home) MUCH more I could list. They should care more about the customer and less about their rating.

I went over everything in great detail when I expressed my displeasure of your questionable business practices at the time of the sale, the next day on the phone (with you) I experienced a semi-threating verbal backlash/tone from you stating you would just "tear up the deal" so very very unprofessional; as my car was already in transit to my location), so you have already heard this in detail, then next day the phone the detail I expressed to you was nothing short of methodical point by point. . It was not until till I received my full paperwork 3 weeks later that I discovered the full extent of everything that was done and deceptive practices the finance manager engaged in. (especially the extended warranty information that was more than just misleading). You did not want to hear anything I was saying until you received public feedback, I had tried to work out a fix with you (you refused to and just flat told me "No we can't do that" (that being a problem you created) this was of course before I found out about the warranty, which has changed the scope. (But I do now realize why you did not want me to pay for the extended warranty at the time of purchase (as I offered to do) because I would have been able to read it and would have caught the verbal lies at that time. I was told verbally by the finance manage that the "Subaru Extended Service Agreement backed by Subaru" extended warranty would be $3520.00 for 10 years 100,000 miles and included a maintenance agreement for $699.00 for oil changes and tire rotations over the same time. When I received the ACTUAL buyers order in the mail, I was not only charged separately for a total of $4219. but had two mystery charges one for Service and handling $129.00 and one for $174.99. But was already charged on the window sticker for $1420.00 for "destination and delivery"(I did not receive this sticker until the next day. Furthermore, MOST IMPORTENLY as far as the warranty goes the paperwork I received (three weeks later) stated 96 months 80,000 miles not the 10-year 100,000 mile I was promised. what I was told. I repeat, I consider they dealership to be dishonest the finance manager to be far worse than dishonest. and would advise anyone looking to purchase a vehicle there to go anywhere else. and there is so much more, lots more Unfortunately I don't have the space to write it all down, and even more insufferable you are the closest Subaru dealership to me with the next closest being over a 3 hour one way drive, so I have no choice but to return to your "hostile" environment to have my car serviced and use the warranty you sold me) But trying to make yourself look useful with this e-mail wanting to talk (like you are reaching out) when I already tried (twice) to talk with you is further evidence of you untruthfulness.
This was our first Subaru experience and it was a
pleasure. Great group to work with. Especially John Caddy. Very pleased with our new purchase.
