Our salesman, John Clarke, can't say enough nice things about him, he is the gold standard in car salesmen. He showed us all our options, explained the various packages in detail. He was extremely knowledgeable and through the whole car buying experience was mostly concerned that we were happy. Everyone at the dealership was wonderful. Would highly recommend this dealership. All the news and all the advice said it was a terrible time to shop for a used car because of high prices and low inventory caused by the pandemic. I sent word to Dan Cohen and John Clarke at Liberty that I needed a good used car at a good price for an out of town family member. (I bought my first new Forester there in 2000 and when I decided to buy a new one in 2017, I went right back). I knew I could count on Liberty and in particular, Dan & John. I was not disappointed. Within the span of a week, we had a beautiful, certified pre-owned 2019 Forester. It was the break my sister & brother-in-law needed after the accident and I was grateful to John & Dan. From test drives, to out of state purchase paperwork, to patiently answering questions & setting a very fair price, I could not have gotten better service. Both John & Dan are good humored, kind and knowledgeable. When the family came to NJ to pick up their almost new car, they were impressed and equally struck by the service and the welcome. No one likes having to buy a car in an emergency but Liberty made it a whole lot easier and really reminded us that car buying can be fun and easy and professional if you know the right place to shop.
