John is a great guy to work with, we bought our first Legacy from him last year and now we just bought another one. He has great follow through and wants to make sure your experience is a good one. This is my second Volkswagen CC purchased from John Ostlund and Dean Team Volkswagen. John is very courteous and extremely knowledgeable about the product line. It is truly a hassle-free experience which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. My wife just purchased a new vehicle a few weeks before from another dealership and we had to deal with the "typical car salesman": pushy, aggressive and he even threatened us if we didn't give him a perfect score on his review. Needless to say we did not give him a perfect score. My experience with John and the Dean Team was the exact opposite. I was made to feel comfortable from the very start and was at no time pressured into something I didn't want. The whole process took less than a few hours (it only took that long because I couldn't make up my mind) and I am extremely satisfied with the service I received. I would highly recommend John Ostlund and Dean Team Volkswagen to anyone who is fed up with the "typical car salesman." More

Volkswagen - A lifetime of memories. My parents immigrated to the United States over fifty years ago. My father, at one point in his career, supported the German Scientist contingent in engineering immigrated to the United States over fifty years ago. My father, at one point in his career, supported the German Scientist contingent in engineering the rocket that helped our American Astronauts reach the moon. Eventually, our family settled in Seattle, WA. German was the primary language spoken in our household while I was young. Our family car - the VW bug. I remember riding up to Paradise, WA on Mount Rainier to go skiing. Snowy, freezing cold conditions. Cars stalled out all over. Our bug, with my twin brother's and me in the backseat, skis mounted on the roof, and snow chains on the tires just chugged right on up the mountain. No problem. A couple years later, our family moved to Africa. Talk about a climate change. Our family car - the VW Microbus. First car I was allowed to try driving. Remember almost putting into a rat-infested ditch (large stearing wheel!). Used on multiple family safaris (pet Baboon, amazing wildlife). Great vehicle during the rainy season (lots of mud!). A couple years later, our family pulled roots again and moved to the Middle East. Our family car - the VW Brasilia (now, I have read, one of the rarest VWs in the USA). First car I drove with a legal Saudi Arabian driver's license. Lots of wide, open highway in the desert. Weekends were spent driving to a huge inlet off the Red Sea called 'The Creek' that provided my brothers and me with great underwater and sailing adventures. Fast forward to college, career, marriage, first house, and then, our family car - the VW Bug. This bug was a 1974 model and had seen better years. However, on a limited budget, it got me safely to work and back home again through daily rush hour traffic. It's a jungle out there! Over my career years, my family hasn't had many new vehicles. However, the kids are in college and it's mid-life crisis time. You tend to reach for the best. My choice ended up being the 'R'. Great for tackling downhill slalom hills in neutral gear (extreme full-scale go-karting!). Curb-hugging performance. State-of-the-Art technology. Subtle luxury. Top-class German Engineering all the way. I am constantly thinking about my next ride in this vehicle. And it's been over 2 months since I purchased it. The newness just doesn't rub off. The Dean Team. Wow! What a great organization. My Sales Consultant was John Ostlund. Very patient. Very knowledgable. VERY professional. Spent alot of time helping me understand the technology inside the cockpit. I wanted to get this purchase right and he was there to assist me where needed. Price was fair. Vehicle delivery exceptional (thoroughly wiped down, glowing in the showroom at pickup time). Icing on the cake was the Sales Manager, Scott Roberts. He followed up the transaction to ensure that all questions and concerns had been addressed. Very passionate about the Volkswagon brand. 100% customer service. Thank you, Volkswagen, for a great vehicle. Thank you, Dean Team, for a great experience. More

Good experience overall. Had to take the car back in to get it serviced because the tire pressure light kept coming on. The service crew was very helpful and attentive. They made good recommendations and I get it serviced because the tire pressure light kept coming on. The service crew was very helpful and attentive. They made good recommendations and I am not having issues with the light anymore. The service attendant was very nice and recommended that we go down the street for the registration of the car. However, this is my one complaint: we were informed that we could have taken the plates from our trade in and put them on the new car through registration. At no point were we informed of this when we were at the dealership and it could have saved us a good amount of money. This is my only complaint, otherwise I felt good about the sale and the service we received. More

Rick Cody and John Ostlund are both very knowledgeable about the products they sell, and very ethical in the way they go about their business. They've both been recognized by Subaru as leaders in their f about the products they sell, and very ethical in the way they go about their business. They've both been recognized by Subaru as leaders in their field, and John in particular knows more about Subarus than pretty much anyone else I know. They treated me with respect and showed great patience as my decision-making process took about 2 months. I was very appreciative of all of their help and very happy with the deal I got on a lease for a new Subaru. I highly recommend working with both Rick and John. More

I found the Dean Team dealership to be very customer friendly and helpful in finding me a new car. I came to find a specific car for my model to model trade in and the sales staff, particularly John Os friendly and helpful in finding me a new car. I came to find a specific car for my model to model trade in and the sales staff, particularly John Ostlund, was very knowledgeable and successful in finding exactly what I wanted for the deal that I wanted. The financial agent, Rick Richard, was great in that he made it all happen and I was able to drive home in my new car! They might do this all day long but I have only purchased a new car myself a couple of times and they both took the time to explain everything to me and make sure that I understood and was happy with my decision to purchase a car from them. Thanks for making it so easy and a relatively painless experience. More
