I am not usually one to write reviews but I cannot say enough good things about Andy Schmidt, John Canaday, and Honda of Columbia. After shopping at several other Columbia area dealerships and being less enough good things about Andy Schmidt, John Canaday, and Honda of Columbia. After shopping at several other Columbia area dealerships and being less than thrilled with the service we received, we found a vehicle at Honda of Columbia at the last moment before purchasing elsewhere. I wish we would have started here! This was my 20 year old son's first time purchasing a vehicle (with my help, of course). Since we were likely closing a deal elsewhere that afternoon and we found this truck that same morning, I reluctantly sent my son to test drive the truck on his own. Andy was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He made my son feel at ease and without any pressure whatsoever. Andy and I continued to communicate through the afternoon due to my being at work. He and the finance manager, John Canaday, worked together to get us the best deal possible and explained everything from start to finish. I have bought many cars in the past but this was one of the easiest experiences I've had, especially after lackluster service the weekend before at another large, local dealership. Honda of Columbia is locally owned, not a chain, and they see their customers as people and not just a number. Andy Schmidt and John Canaday are true assets to this business and I highly suggest asking for them if you are looking to purchase and finance a new or used vehicle in the Columbia area. More

My family has now bought 3 Hondas from this location. Asten specifically has been instrumental in making positive experiences with this dealership. Andy stayed 2 hours after closing to see to it I got the car I needed to get back and forth to work. I had a very informative test drive and he got the exact things I wanted in a car (low mileage, 2019-2017 which I was actually able to get a 2020 and heated seats). Johnny worked with my budget and helped me in a SIGNIFICANT way to facilitate an affordable car payment. Robert was very kind while assisting me to get heated seats installed. Apologies I don’t know his name but the ‘dent’ man was friendly and professional too. I appreciate the advice he gave me and the quality work done to pull out dents from the previous owner. More

We have worked with Honda of Lexington for years and they are phenomenal. They always work with us to get us exactly what we want, in a timely fashion and with the best prices. We have worked with other Honda Dealerships but they are our go-to and we have bought our last 4 cars from them and plan to continue to buy from them. My daughter was in an accident recently and her Civic was totaled.
