Dear North Shore Jeep Owner, I'm sorry you are disappointed by my service department. I have met with my service manager manager and I've prepared some answers to your concerns. In May 2012, a clip was missing which was causing engine oil to leak on your gas tank. You contacted us and we told you to bring your vehicle back into us. We did not see you again. In April 2015, there was a recall on your vehicle. You brought the vehicle to us and we performed the recall. You never mentioned the clip or the oil on your gas tank. One of the items we addressed while your vehicle was in under recall was the replacement of the rear pinion seal. This was replaced under the manufacturer 100k powertrain warranty. In October 2015, you brought the vehicle back to us and said we installed the part backwards. In speaking with our technicians and service director, it is impossible to install this part backwards. We did identify a crack in your rear differential housing. We replaced your rear differential housing and all internal components under the 100k powertrain warranty. Furthermore, the parts we installed carried a 12 month warranty on them. On October 4, 2017, you brought the vehicle back to us. Your Jeep had 114k miles on it. You are out of the 100k manufacturer powertrain warranty and the 12-month parts warranty on the items we installed in October 2015. You suggested you could not see the diagnostic charge on our computer screen. We don't hear this complaint from our customers so please understand we were not doing anything underhanded. We offered to split this charge with you as a goodwill gesture. Regarding your statement, "conn me into replacing fluids on our vehicle that did not need replacing," I can only say that we were unaware you changed your rear differential fluid on your own, as evidence of this was not distinguishable. We recommended changing it. I'm sorry this caused friction. That is not our intention. I realize you've said you would like to take your business elsewhere. If only we could have improved on the communications over the past, perhaps we could have won back your trust. We remain available to assist you. Dear Chris, I feel like I'm in the middle of a fight here. My team has informed me that the vehicle has not been serviced by us on a regular basis and that outside body shops bent the rocker arms on both sides of your vehicle when they lifted it to replace the oil. There appears to be a concern that other people are damaging your vehicle and, while we have paid to have your vehicle fixed out of goodwill, my team is questioning actual responsibility. Dear TrueCar shopper, I'm sorry we have this disagreement. I'm told we had a prepared Buyer's Order with approved pricing on it. I'm told that prior to signing a request of us was made to reduce the purchase price by more than $4,000. We had discussed TrueCar pricing and we were willing to sell you this vehicle at the TrueCar price. The Affiliate program was mentioned and that savings amounted to around $300. I'm told we were willing to make this sale to you provided you supplied us with an Affiliate code. We sell a lot of vehicles because of our relationship with TrueCar. The pricing for TrueCar is simple and it is pre-set. We would never do anything to jeopardize our relationship. I'm being told the $4,000 you were seeking was based on pricing for a base vehicle with a lot of rebates and incentives which you did not qualify for. That pricing we could not honor. Sorry but your response is not how it happened at all. I brought in all the truecar paperwork. It was shown numberous times to ALL your managers. And I talked to Rachel Lambert as well, if you want someone to collarborate my review. My last words to Rachel was "I am sorry but I am going to have to write a negative review for not honoring the truecar price". I did NOT ask for further discounts. Someone is not being trueful, Phil. The price you gave me was almost $400 ABOVE the truecar price. When I brought in the quotes from competing dealorships that HONORED the truecar price again I was told "Sorry we cannot match the truecar price". Would not recommend your dealership to anyone and if you are not willing to work with Truecar, I feel you should take your dealership out of the program. l

Phil I am very surprised at the disingenuous reply. Being the dealership for Jeep you full well know that Jeep offers a 4,000 rebate/incentive on the purchase of a new Jeep Renegade. .There are even more reductions more than the rebates. FYI They are military discount and discounts if you lease or finance a new Renegade, Neither of them I am entitled to nor did I request them . So You do not want to honor the incentives from Jeep? I hope your future customers are reading this and go elsewhere since every other Jeep dealers in the immediate area have no problem with honoring the incentives and the truecar EXACT price - nothing more, nothing less. I did not want to haggle like a fishwife just purchase a car. And like I mentioned before it was a deplorable experiance FYI Here are the incentives I qualified for 2017 Jeep Renegade Retail Customer Cash Allowance $2,500 2017 Jeep Renegade Bonus Cash $1,500
