Aliea is the best!!! Before I came to Security Dodge I went to 7 dealerships to find my right vehicle. No one came close to Aliea. She made my experience amazing! Major complaint I purchased a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED 2016 Jeep Patriot from this horrific dealership a little over a year ago. The car had less than 55,000 miles on it, I purchased a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED 2016 Jeep Patriot from this horrific dealership a little over a year ago. The car had less than 55,000 miles on it, yet, I was experiencing transmission issues. After speaking to my personal mechanic who told me there was a serious problem with the transmission, I brought the car back to the dealership on on May 22, 2019 for service. After not hearing an update for over a week...over two weeks...over 3 weeks...over a month....over TWO MONTHS, ...FOUR MONTHS..It is September 23, 2019 and I finally got the Jeep back and it’s still bucking. My phone records show I made 10 OUTGOING calls to the dealership from May 20, 2019 - July 24, 2019 and was constantly either sent to voicemail or told by receptionists that the service representatives and/or managers were "too busy" to talk to me. After leaving countless messages, I was finally contacted (sometime in June 2019) by an employee, who told me that the point of contact on my vehicle would get back to me soon. Never heard back. On July 24, 2019 I called yet again and after being put on hold (their standard procedure) I was told a manager would call me back. The manager called to tell me "THERE ARE NO RECORDS OF YOUR VEHICLE BEING SERVICED IN OUR SYSTEM" He proceeded to tell me there are no notes, no records, of my vehicle whatsoever and that he would personally take the car for a drive (10-15 miles) to see if there was still an issue with the transmission. Hours later, he followed up to tell me there is DEFINITELY something wrong and that he would see to it that it was serviced. I asked if I could speak to the owner of the dealership who I imagine would like to know about this gross negligence but I was told the owner doesn't speak to anyone and that the Service Director would call me. Never heard back. I called July 30, 2019 - and was told by a receptionist that the Service Director was unable to speak to me but would call me back. She didn't even take my number down. Never heard back On Sept 1, I was working out of town, so my parents went personally to the dealership to see if the Jeep was even in the lot. They spoke with The service manager and I spoke to him on speaker phone. He told me there was no records of my Jeep being serviced and that he would get back to me. That day I emailed the co-owner and CEO. At 5:00 pm that night, the dealership called to tell me a new transmission would be put in. I emailed the CEO JJ Vigorito and told him the whole story. All I wanted at this point was to end my relationship with this dealership. I wanted them to buy back the vehicle. They had to repair it anyway. They could fix it and resell it with no loss. It certainly was not an unreasonable request due to the circumstances. What was the response from the CEO you ask? He gave no apologies!! He said, “Thank you for informing about your vehicle in our service dept. I just spoke to The service manager about the repair of your Jeep Patriot. I now understand better of your concern and I also understand you have a service contract to cover the repair while you are in our loaner vehicle. With that being said, if you are unhappy with the car and want to speak with me on trading the vehicle in you can do so at your convenience but if you are asking me to buy it back for your original purchase price from 2018 then I am not the one to speak to in reference to that matter. “ I asked the CEO if he wasn’t the ONE TO SPEAK TO IN REFERENCE TO THAT MATTER, who is?? Of course, no response. I emailed the corporate office in Michigan and haven’t heard back yet. Can you even believe this. I’m bringing my Jeep back today because it is Sept. 23rd and it’s still not running well! Oh and lastly, the loaner car dept called to accuse me of a dent. Meanwhile I have a time stamped photo of the dent from the day i was loaned the Jeep. Beware beware beware!! To be continued More
