Jones Junction is proud to announce that 2017 marks their 100th consecutive year as a family-run automotive business serving the Harford County and surrounding Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware communities.
The company started in 1917 with family patriarch C.M. Jones, who began his career owning and operating an authorized repair center for Ford. For the last century, the Jones family has worked in the business, serving the community with superior customer service and plenty of hard work.
Over the years, the business has steadily grown, first to include the acquisition of Plymouth, Nissan, and Honda Motorcycles, and later to include Chrysler, Toyota, and GMC as well. Jones Junction has the distinction of becoming one of the first Toyota dealerships in the state of Maryland.
Due to increased business, the Jones family outgrew their facilities several times before landing at their current 40-acre location on Belair Road.
Today, Jones Junction has facilities for ten (10) dealerships: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Genesis, Subaru, and Kia, as well as PreOwned Superstores and a Collision Center. Employing more than 670 people, the business continues to thrive. Mr. Vernon Jones' three children, Larry, Danny, and Beverly are still active with the dealership and have partnered with Bryan Kilby to carry on their father's philosophies and renowned success.
The Jones family believes their success lies in focused dedication to hard work and integrity. Their goal is not simply to sell a car; it is to create a lifelong partnership with their customers.
