Prepared to make a vehicle purchase I obtained a loan from my bank. When making the deal Jose said there was an issue with the financing andy bank was coming back with a higher rate. Jose recommended ano from my bank. When making the deal Jose said there was an issue with the financing andy bank was coming back with a higher rate. Jose recommended another dealer approved bank that had a higher rate then my initial loan. It didn’t feel right so I contacted my bank and they said there wasn’t an issue and I should get the original rate. I had Jose talk to my bank directly and rectify the situation. It seemed like a bait and switch to me, as my bank was very direct that there should not have been an issue an it was the dealer that was in the wrong. Additionally, Jose was adamant that my bank was not going to go with my original rate. This all made for a pretty lousy buying experience. Additionally, I was buying a lease out and the process took over two hours which seemed like a very long time for such a straightforward process. More
