Buyer Beware My wife and I recently leased a 2019 Acura RDX. We called the dealership with the stock # of the car that we wanted and asked them to please have the car ready for us. We wanted to look at it, but we were ready to lease. The person I spoke with (Nick) said, "no problem we have it here on the lot, it will be ready for you." I asked several times, because it was a Sunday and I knew the paperwork would take time - to confirm it was there. We were driving from New Jersey and wanted to make sure. He said to ask for him or the sales manager (Ali). When we arrived, we were not greeted by anyone, had to find the desk. The young lady behind the desk seemed very annoyed that we interrupted her from texting on her phone. We asked to speak with Nick or Ali, and were promptly told that neither were available because Nick was in the lead department and Ali had the day off. So Jose the salesperson came over to help us. We asked him about the exact car that we wanted and he said, no it's not here, it will take me 35 minutes to get it here. First we were annoyed, but we had traveled a long way and said okay we will wait. Then he said, no it will take an hour, when pressed he said no it will take 2 hours. Then he finally admitted it that it was not possible for us to see the car. I am condensing this conversation but it took 20 minutes just to get him to admit that he could not get the car. We kept pleading our case that we had traveled more than an hour, called in advance, were ready to make a deal, but couldn't do it without seeing the vehicle. Finally he asked his manager and they agreed to deliver the car to us the next day and bring the contract with them. We agreed on the lease terms of 12,000 miles and a monthly payment. Both my wife and I are working professionals and asked around what time the car would be delivered. We were told between 5 and 5:30. I had to be there to sign the contract, but I was working around 2 1/2 hours from my home that day. I sent a text to Jose all day asking for an update about when the car would be ready because I had such a long drive. Wasn't able to get a time frame - so I left a meeting with a client to be back at my house at 5:30 as agreed. The car showed up at around 7:30 - and the contract was wrong - it said 10,000 miles. When I sent a text to Jose, he replied, "oh but you can go over 7,500 with Acura. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that it was just an oversight, but a response like that makes me think it was intentional. Overall we walked away from the experience with the car that we wanted, however, if it was available at any other dealership - we would have gone elsewhere. Very sneaky place. In a world where everything available online 99% of dealerships are transparent with their pricing and incentives. These guys seem to be in the dark ages of negotiation. The bright spot was James who delivered the car to us - he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Was apologetic that the lease order and contract were incorrect and immediately got on the phone with a manager - wish he was part of the first mile instead of the last. More

PEREZ is one of the most patient, kind, humble, and understanding sales dealer in Paragon Acura. Although I came in with a set number that I wanted to pay, I paid a little more. Not because the dealer "got me"…but because he was patient enough to explain to me every number I had acquired through my own research and factoring in the over mileage. I never felt pressured into any deal. I am extremely happy with my experience and the transparency of the transactions. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him for a smooth and pleasant experience in trading, buying, leasing a car. More

Dishnest Salesman, classic Bait & Switch I did my research on an Acura RDX with a specific safety package I wanted for my parents. I called to confirm that they had this specific car because it wasn't on their online inventory. Their junior sales associate (Cesar) lied to me and said they did so I came in. The next 2 days, I spent negotiating price with their Sales Consultant Jose Perez. I was honest with him, did my research, knew the market price and asked him not to jerk me around as my time was precious. I live in California and was only in town for 2 days so I had to finalize a new car purchase for my parents. On the last day, my entire family comes with me to finalize the purchase and after 1.5 hours of waiting in their showroom, Jose sits down and tells me they NEVER had the car I wanted in stock. This was after Cesar confirmed with me on the phone and Jose lied to me twice directly to my face that they did. I was furious. They ran a classic BAIT & SWITCH on me knowing that I had to make a purchasing decision ASAP and had to leave town in 2 days. They tried to upsell me on another car that was $5K over our original negotiated price. At no point during our negotiations did they ever have the specific car I wanted. I stormed out of their showroom and told Jose what a xxx I thought he was after he spewed all this junk about how important family, integrity and honesty are. Jose, if you are reading this, for your own benefit, take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror. Based on my interactions with you and the rest of your colleagues and these reviews I'm reading on Yelp, this behavior is typical of your branch. You should be ashamed of yourself, but you probably couldn't care less More
